Hi,

I am Ramon and I just joined this forum.
Like most of us I also am looking for ways to get better search engine rankings and more traffic.
Along the way in my learning process I made a small 'cheat' sheet for myself and I want to share that with my fellow seo lovers.
Comments are welcome of course.

Thanks,

    First, welcome to the forum..

Second, from your username, and the structure of your first post here, I had the feeling that you're following a certain advice of "forum marketing" type.

My concerns are justified for me, it's not common for someone to name himself "let's fly cheap", and it's not common for a new comer to such a huge and outstanding community to start his very first post with advice with a powerful subject like SEO, while if you browse the forum, you'll discover that there's much more to learn about the subject, and the good news, you can learn it by reading through the forum

I don't mean to be harsh, I am just trying to introduce this amazing community to you in a different way than I felt you're thinking about...

If my assumptions were wrong, plz accept my apologies...

    Best regards

    A Bary

    Hi Bary,

I just want to share my seo expierences, unlike most other forum members, I am not here to sell SEO services or any kind of marketing service what so ever. I am in the travel business, and if I did this pure for spam/market I would be on the wrong forum right ;-)
It's true that I am a newbie but I am here because I want to participate on this forum, share my expierences and learn from others.

I agree with you Groovy, that you have to try to be different.
But it's so hard to be different in my opinion because if something new works, few days later everybody will follow.
And as a relative newbie I have hard time to know what really works and what not, you read so much different stories about seo and seo software.

So, why did you copy and paste the content of your first
      post from SEO Made Easy?

      This is a discussion forum.

It's not an article directory and we don't tolerate people
      who plagiarize other people's content.

        It's the sad repeated story

For those who are new here

FOR GOD SAKE.. ditch the very bad, stupid advice you get from bone heads about forum marketing,,,at least take it outside from here

The advice of "try to be cool, share something of value (no matter it's right or wrong, or it's your own ideas or others, just share what you think is cool), then heavily spam the forum for backlinks or promotions ISN'T WORKING HERE, this place is moderated by very smart people, plus, it's moderated by its own users, so, such a strategy will never get you anywhere, you'll be spotted faster than you think....

I am posting this because I feel sad for people who throw away the opportunity to learn IM the right way form this forum by following the advice of idiots, and focus on spamming and self promotion instead of learning and sharing real ideas..
