Just When I Was About To Hit 2K it Happened

On January 15, 2010, Twitter instructed us to remove the "bulk unfollow" capability of Twitter Karma as it has been determined to violate their Automation Rules and Best Practices. We have done so in order to comply with their request. We apologize to you, our users, for having to make this change, but hope you will understand it is outside of our control.
Found this similar problem elsewhere as well (huiter).

I have an account I'm managing which is more about a numbers game than a one on one.

Anyway, went to do some maintenance on it tonight and looks like my work will not be cut out for me.

I get the whole thing with spammers inflating things - but it's not about that with this account.

I just want to get a name "seen" - not trying to spam links to make money on this account.

We are honestly just trying to spread a message and get the word out.

Ok, so what is dossy good for now, and, well, nevermind......

Ok, I guess this might work, and will just be a bit more work

FriendOrFollow.com - Who's not following you back? Who aren't you following?

You can export a csv file of the names not following and manually remove them.

    HINT: Service anyone? lol

That looks like a paid service.

I'd be afraid of paying only for them to get a slap down very soon.

It's not a service, it's a piece of blac-khat software. They won't be removing features as they are not personally breaking the TOS. The software doesn't work on their server, it works wherever you run it from.

Well, I have about 200 non followers, and I'm manually removing them now - just finished the numbers and the A's. lol

But I can't imagine doing this to kick start a new account. Dang, making me work and my fingers will be in carpal by tomorrow.

The mass follow spammers will be shot down - which is a good thing I suppose, but for my intentions on this particular campaign I will be directing my time away from Twitter.
