online mentoring service- Does a program exist for them to submit their assignments?

Hi

I am looking for an online service that would allow clients to log in and submit their assignments.

I would do a search but I would not know what description to search for, sorry

At the moment I provide a mentoring service for a small group of clients.

It works well but is pretty basic in as much as it the group submit their assignments to me via email and on a discussion forum.

I was wondering it there was a more professional way of doing this so that the client could log on to a site and add their assignment work and I would have access to each clients submissions?

I am not sure if this makes sense or not, so my apologies if it is a bit vague.

To explain further, when I was a teacher, we used an online program called "Blackboard" which allowed the students to log in and submit their homework. Every student was listed and all I needed to do was click on a name and see their work.

If you have any suggestions I would be very grateful. Thank you

    Ha I use blackboard. Just use vBulletin and have them pm you with the assignment attached. Even my school stopped using Blackboard, they use a forum in house now.

      The beuaty with blackboard was that I could see who had submitted their assignments and who hadn't. I was hoping that their would be something similar suitable for online marketers.

        I used blackboard as a student at my university for about a year before the administration decided to switch over to moodle (pretty much the same thing from my side). I have to say both are really amazing.

        I yet have to come across anything like that for internet marketers however.

        EDIT: Just found out that moodle is open source and free so feel free to have a look http://moodle.org/
