    Dave,

It is hard to say unless you tell us what experience you have, what you are good at. E.g. if you have some big mailing lists it might be easy to make that kind of money.

I always get nervous when people look to IM to make a large amount of cash quickly, I see it as more of a long term game. Jobs allow you to make cash quickly and guaranteed. IM will make you a lot of money in the long term but the timescale is not guaranteed especially if you are starting out.

Your best bet might be to juggle your finances, get a bridging loan, sell a car, do overtime, plead with bank manager, borrow from dad, or any number of offline options rather than do IM.

Then you can pay back over time with IM with a bit less pressure than 2 months to make 15k.

I hate threads that say $XX in XX amount of time.

If your new to IM then I'll cut you some slack but seriously listen up.

You can make $15K in 2 months, is it possible - yes it is.

However, can YOU make it - I don't know the answer to that question.

But it's worth a shot, right? You may need to work 20 hours a day for the next 2 months but if thats what it takes then so be it.

    Heres a short cut.

Find a niche, then find a need or a want. Setup a website, build a list and create a product and fill that need or want. Keep it simple, work on one thing at a time instead of trying to do 10 things at once.

Don't panic. Oh, and don't forget your towel.

    Good luck,

    -Paul

To be quite honest, making that amount of money in that amount of time starting at ground zero is very highly unlikely.

I'm not saying its impossible. It is however extremely difficult and rare considering you know very little about IM. There are people (me included) who never made much in their whole first 12 months of online marketing.

It is only after trying and failing and then trying some more that you learn how everything works and THEN you start making SOME money... after that you can start thinking of 2 or 3k a month and so on.

Again, I'm not trying to be negative. Far from it. Considering your experience you should look to do something you're good at.

You can start IM when you have a settled financial situation and a few hours to spare every day.

Skill set wise I am a website designer for a living, but I want to supplement my income. to get there quicker and get a comfortable living.
The need to get 15k is so we can move house.
I suppose I have been looking at it as a quick win, but I want a longer term solution too

it really depends on what type of time you have. And I mean daily. Do you work a full time job? Do you have a family? If you answered yes to both of those questions, and you value your sleep, I'd say its going to be tough.

If you are single or you are unemployed, it's extremely possible to do what you need to do...even likely if you get on the right track.

It really depends on what you want to do and how much time you have daily. I would say that creating a product would be the easiest way to get there but CPA stuff will get you there too if you do it right.

As a web designer, do some research into flipping sites...that will give you immediate income, especially if you're able to score some good domains and target valuable keywords.

Also, I was not being negative either, simply being honest.

It's definitely feasible, but don't go the routes of most people when they first get into IM.

Here's a little guide to follow:

    1. Figure out what your passions are. Golf, gardening, exercising, etc.

    2. Find out what problems or questions people have about your topic.

    3. Make a product that solves their problems, answers questions, or just makes their lives easier.

    4. Market it to those hungry crowds.

You could flip sites, or take on more clients at your current business. Flipping sites takes time and money though.

I know in your other thread, you indicated that you don't really have spare time or any money to invest so I think it would be pretty hard to generate an extra 15K unless you have a big list or something.

Maybe you could sell some stuff on ebay? If you're moving you probably have some extra stuff in the attic or basement?

I would think that being a web designer gives you a good start, but by no means will any of what you are asking come easy. I would focus on learning/doing. Learn what you can on here and other sites, while putting what you learn in practice one step at a time.

  • possible, and small time money for that time frame, if you have been around for a bit..

Starting from new, your looking at a 4-12 month learning curve, possibly with a lot of procrastinating and mistakes, because of the amount of options available and the sheer fear people sometimes get if it doesn't work out.

Unless you come up with some good product, it will be a challenge. It would have to be a really good product that everyone could use and wants

That's not far from 6 figures in a year. It typically takes a long time to get to that stage. I think you have to be an incredibly good Internet marketer with plenty of knowledge and experience. I don't think it will happen for you my friend, but you should definitely try your hand at Internet marketing. We all have to start somewhere.

2 months time gap for IM is not so feasible i would reckon. But nothing is hard if you can give your best. Probably it all matters what business your about to run and how are you intending to market.

Lets say you have a good niche that can get you that money, but then it is no use if you dont know to market your business.

    Best of Luck Dave !

Would blogging or squido lenses be a good place to start or should I focus on websites?
That's from your other question today - and an odd question from a web designer.

Some will tell you "it's feasible" - but have they done it?

Others will say "it's definitely possible" - based on what example?

Still others will tell you it can't be done but have never tried it.

To me, setting a money goal is self destructive if you do not yet have a plan in place for what you will be doing online.

Ask yourself this: Can I generate another $15k income in two month in web design?

If the answer is "no" in an area where you have expertise - is it a logical income goal when you are just beginning to learn?

Pick what you want to work on - make a plan of action with daily tasks clearly outlined. Get started and work like you've never worked before. You probably will not (just honest here) generate $15k in 60 days but you may be surprised at what you CAN earn.

I totally agree. It takes experience and knowledge to do well in the internet marketing niche. It took me 2 years of studying and implementing before I made my first dollar online.

I am not full time and will continue to grow as I get better and better.

A real challenge! It will give you results only in a long run. So you dont make any return here to meet your this expense.

But I must suggest you to give it a try if you are much optimistic and confident in what you do. Do your best, you will surely succeed.

    Is it possible? Yes!

Is it feasible? No one can tell you, it depends on you.

Is it likely? No. It's, very unlikely.

Despite all the hype you read, internet marketing is not really a source of huge amounts of quick money with no effort and no risk. Anyone who says differently is probably trying to get into your pocket.

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

Well I am up for the hard work, its it works it works, but I am sure the learnign curve can only improve skills I can use in other areas and perhaps sell as a service later on

As they say, 'Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained'

The hype is what got me here, the sales pitches got me here, sno now I need to knuckle down and try and get a return on my latest skills

Thank you everone, I am not put off, I know there is a way and I am going to try and find it
