If your product is so good, give it to me free, if it works I'll pay you.
What? You won't?
Ah ha!! Got you!
That means your product doesn't work. Didn't think so.
In younger days I used to think the same way. Why should I pay for an information product first and then find out if it works? If they would just let me have it, then pay them IF it works, that would be fair wouldn't it?
The thing I didn't know then was that most information on "How to" does work especially coming from a successful person. The thing that might not work is "me". Back then I wanted to put the burden of proof on the product. Those selling the information were a bit wiser and could see that the weak link in the chain was not the product, but me!
If any of them would have let me take the product for free with the condition that "if it works" or "when I make money" they would get paid, they would have never gotten paid. Heck most people never follow through with all the information they pay for. I didn't know that back then.
