If you needed 1000 in 1 months time what would you focus on?

I think this could be a informative thread for a lot of people.

Let's say you need to make 1000 bucks in 1 months time, what would you focus on to meet that goal?

What online income makers are best for such a goal?

Article Marketing(best way to go about it?)
Making a few exact keyword Adsense sites and trying to rank them?
CPA offers and maybe yahoo answers?
Adsense site and Ezine traffic?

What would you do? Let's also say that you have the time to focus on this work, as in you don't have many things you need to do.

I would focus on what type of habits/thinking/actions got
me into a position that made me NEED to make $1000 in one
month instead of allowing me to go through trial and error
and actually focus on building a long term business instead
of trying to hustle fast cash.

Contrary to what most people believe when you
are desperate you are more likely to NOT reach your goals.

    Hello,
offline marketing can make you $1,000.00 very fast.
You can set up 10 websites for $100.00 each and then charge a ongoing fee of at least
    $10.00 per customer.

Well it does not have to be a NEED but say a goal to reach that to say pay off a unexpected bill or whatever.

I'm supporting cowsgonemadd3 in his quest to get 1K/pcm. Being desperate gives a lot of dedication and focus, that what makes results. To answer your question, it depends what you're good at. Focus on your strengths not weakneses. I would suggest to start thinking of making your own good quality digital product in a niche you love the most, and then get JV partners to promote it.

Myself I don't need 1000 by the end of this month but I do NEED 400 bucks by months end and it needs to come from online work. My insurance is due on top of other bills and because of lack of my income I have not been able to put back the needed 300 bucks.

I am just curious what you all would focus on. For me I have time, lots of time to work so I wondered what could meet my goal if I worked.

I don't want to sound negative or anything but I doubt any of these methods will make you $1000 in only a month.

The two that involve making sites are problematic because 1 month is not really enough time to get enough traffic to a site. Not a brand new site. Sure, you could get a little traffic but you'd have to make a crapload of sites to get enough cumulative traffic for $1000.

Yahoo answers is problematic because you'd have to hit it pretty hard to get enough traffic for $1000 and I think you'd get banned before enough money came in.

The article marketing maybe could pull it off but you'd have to produce a lot of articles. I know there are people here that make that at least a month with article marketing, but I don't think $1000 came in right in the first month. I think it is more of a cumulative effort.

I think you could make $1000 a month with any of them given time (if you put in enough effort), but not in just 1 month.

OK, in that case then I would do 1 of two things.

    Flip some websites

Hire yourself out to write some articles.

These are not the things mentioned in the OP, but IMHO the best ways to bring in some extra money that you need to pay off a bill.

This is great advice. Everything starts with the thought. So look at that and ask what thoght habits got you in the position. Listen to what Daniel says, check his posts, he knows his stuff.

Although, whether someone is desperate or not, you can always find a way to get what you need. I've been desperate, and it seems to give me absolute clarity and get to work asap.

Totally agree with Lee here. Site flipping is the way to generage cash quickly. I've been doing it, and I still do it. Give it a go, its a great model to get into.

For site flipping, go check this great website out by Michelle Adams - http://www.michelle-adams.com/ . It will help a lot.

I thought site flipping meant you had to make a site get income and then flip it? Could that be done in a month or are you talking about giving low offers to others sites and flipping them for more?

Article writing is not a option unless I can get 2 cents a word at least and digital point people only want to offer you less than 1 cent.

This is sort of a 'tongue-in-cheek' reply here, but there are a few threads here about making $1000 in 24 hours where a lot of people purport to be able to do it in that short a period of time.

Perhaps there is a nugget or two in those threads that you can use.

Even if you miss it by a factor of 30, well...

So if I made several .com .net or .org sites and wrote ahh 20-30 blog posts(I would make blogs) then I could sell them in 30 days for??

Check out Flippa or the websites for sale here at WF and see what the going rates are.

For blogs earning nothing with a premium design you can get about $100 - $150. With 20-30 unique blog posts you could probably get about $250. I'm not sure on that on the unique posts - I haven't sold one of those in a while.

They have to be really great designs though, I don't think plain ugly blogs go for much but then again, the unique posts (if they are good quality) could make up for that.

It would be a lot easier and less time consuming just to sell the articles though instead of making a blog and adding the posts. You're not going to get much more for them because they are on a blog and the whole process of selling + setting up the buyer etc... can be quite time consuming.

This is a good topic. I am new to WF. I would like to know which is the best way to start out?

I am not totally a newbie. In theory, I know I have to get domain name, hosting, autoresponders, I know about blogger, wordpress, but do not have a blog or website or facebook, twitter, or myspace accounts...

I can spend 2 hours per night and on weekends may be 6-10 hours. I don't want to spend too much money in the beginning, as I want to learn first do many tasks myself...

What should I learn first, second etc in order to start making a living par time on the internet?

      Much obliged,
      Regards,
      Isa.

I have read about (not tried personally) that AdWords will get you to your $1000. But, I suppose you really need to know what you are doing. And, it will cost you. For example, maybe you have to spend $1,000 to get $2,000 in return for a net $1,000. If that's the case, just use that $1,000 investment to pay off your insurance.

I would offer article writing, article posting and link building services as WSO's. Maybe these could fly on Craigslist to but responses for SEO services I have made get a very low quantity of replies.

Link building services like bookmarking, blog commenting, RSS feed directory submission, forum posting, social network profile making. yahoo answers posts. creating squidoo and hubpage sites for links, making videos from images at animoto and positing them for links.

Everybody knows they need to be doing more of these and nobody has the time to do enough of them. Even if they do all those they still want more.

The profitability of it depends a lot no how efficient you use your time to deliver the goods. If you have good automation tools that still produce quality results then lean towards those areas. If they know you and trust you to get the job done and they do not require a report then save time and don't do one.

If you do quality type relevant commenting and forum posts that do not make spam problems you can charge the higher end. See what others are charging and show it as a quality solution and don't take the bottom feeder offers. Your customers will expect some documentation showing it was done.

A little bird once told me to make a pen name and post a question on yahoo answers. then go back as me or a different pen name a week later and answer the question with my link. Then go back as the person who asked the question and select your own answer as the best answer and close the question. What a naughty bird, I shooed him away immediately, of course.

I would sit down and make a plan.

Then follow the plan from Step 1 to whatever Step it goes to without doing anything else.

And if I do that, hopefully, I will have a 1000 bucks in my pocket by the end of the month.

I would say focus on your skills , what you are good at etc. Your strengths and weaknesses. Devise a plan and go for it. There is no point in you looking for people on the forum to decide for you what you should do. You are the person whom knows yourself the best, so choose according to what you know about yourself.

All the best and i hope it works out for you.

I am pretty sure that if you did not limit yourself to online marketing, that you could find ways to make $1000 easily in one month. If you have a flea market in your town, simple buy used items on CL or at a storage unit auction and resell them. There are people who make their living this way.

If I needed $1000 in 1 month I would probably focus on product creation. The reason for this is because it allows you to get your money instantly rather than waiting like with affiliate marketing. Also it is much easier to promote a product you created yourself rather than a product you may not have any experience with.

    Traffic Generation methods would include

    social networking/web 2.0
    SEO
PPC(assuming you have start up cash)
outsourcing articles (i personally hate writing articles haha)
and if you can quickly build a responsive list through giveaway programs as well as jv's (hint: use giveaways up to about 200 or so responsive members. Then include jvs as well as giveaways)
    classifieds
    press releases

With the deadline of 30 days some methods would be better than others. You would have to look at traffic generating methods that produce instant or quick results. Most of these require some form of payment.

I would create a viral campaign targeting specific niche, and advertise an affiliate product with it.

It may fail, but with a bit of witty thinking people will love your viral.

Take something from old movies, some forgotten joke or vintage classic that all used to love, and remix it in a 2010 style. Make the viral sticky and make people click to your affiliate link as much as possible, by giving value in a viral.

That worked for me more than a few times.

For me, I have VERY little money. Enough for a few more domains but other than that not really. This thread has been amazing so far by the way everyone.

Yeah, I am looking to make some cash this month and wondered from the experienced what would be best to pursue to get my goal if I only had 30 days.
