If you do a search for "Blogger templates" or "Blogger themes" you'll get tons of sites that have them.

A lot of them are not updated & others are having a hard time installing
so there's no other templates besides the default ones.

Sorry, But that is definitely NOT true....I use many from other template sites and virtually all work well installed at Blogspot. com .....one example is a Blogger theme called ADS-THEME-BLOGGER.

I use lottsa free blogger templates. Google "free blogger templates" and you'll find sites which do exactly that. The best free one IMHO is btemplates dot com (which I have no relationship with at all other than using their product...which is free).

If you have trouble installing, step back and review your method. It's absolutely simple once you know what to do. I can pick a template and have it running within a minute or two. Make sure you do it the right way and your problems will be solved.

I think you better do a search and see what is out there before making that kind of statement. There are plenty of updated Blogger Blog templates out there and I happen to be using one.

You can place your blogger blog with the domain of your choice. Blogger gives you the option to do this. You will have to search around in the setup stuff as I don't remember exactly where to go. I know you can do this though.

Domain name registered at blogger? No prob. Pick the 'custom domain' option. In the space where they ask your domain name for custom domain put the name with the www. part. Answer the captcha at the bottom of the page. Click. In about 12 seconds you should get a message that everything's ok. Then check the check box that asks you if you want the naked domain name [that is, the domain name without the www.] sent to the same place as the www.domain name. Do the next captcha. In five seconds you're done and ready to install your new template.

Change your DNS first!!! Change the CNAME to ghs.google.com. Change the ANAME to 216.239.32.21 It usually take no time and you're ready (on the 2 registrars I've used, godaddy and mitsu). I have no idea about changing addresses since I've never done that. I use my address for comment moderation, which you set by going to Settings, then Comments, then scrolling down the page (clicking the boxes you want) then putting in your address to moderate comments. It usually is all ready in no time. No 2 day wait, like they warn you.

I'm going to bed now. Catch you another time.
