What else can i do??

hello warriors,

I have been slowly building up a community of plasterers and now its really busy, I am starting to sell advertising space to people but I am running out of space to put more ads. I dont want to flood the forum with adverts as I think this will annoy my loyal members.

I was thinking of turning the site into more than just a forum, I have thought about adding content and turning the home page into more of a site.

What do you guys think? I am in need of increasing the income of this site.

    You could offer a paid membership with a variety of benefits:

    - marketing & advertising
    - rewards club with discounts
    - business directory, not just a links listing
    - access to articles
    - mini web site

    etc.

    There's not a lot of advertising on the site. You can add Adsense, some building relates affiliate banners (affiliatefuture.co.uk has quite a lot)

    Combine the forum and link directory into one site, currently the twao are not linked except in the front page

    Adding more content in the way of articles would be a good idea. You can easily create a section on the forum that features related articles. You can also ad a directory of plasterers. The end result is more pages that you can use as ad space.

    • I think that is the way I am heading, I have thought about writing reveiws on training centers ect.

      As far as directory, I have started The Plasterers Directory so this I hope will also help in the revenue front
