How Does This Whole RSS Stuff Work???

Hey warriors,

I read a lot of times that submitting a rss feed to aggregators is
great for building backlinks. The problem is that I do not have a clue
how to actually do that.

I have a wordpress blog. What is the next step now? Do I have to
create a rss feed first? If yes how?

And should I submit ut for my homepage or can I also submitt it for
internal pages?

How it works?
when you submit your feed, and you update your blogs' content - ie adding new posts weekly/daily, then the Rss sites update themselves, and when people like your rss feed title (from the directories) then they can pull them and use your content on their site, so your content can get into a wider field.

So that means i only have to submit the rss feed once for a wordpress blog?

  Once for each rss directory.
  
  For 10 Rss directories = you would have to submit your rss feed to all of them individually, = 10 seperate submissions.

  You can use feedity.com to make RSS feeds from other places you post articles or updated information too (like squidoo, wetpaint, etc). Submit all these to the aggregators and its even more backlinks for minimal effort.
  
  RssBot is what I use to submit to a nice handful of aggregators quickly and easily. It's cheap and gets the job done.
