Hi all,

It's not very often I really say whats on my mind but,..........

I had this thought today...how many lists are you signed up to?

I guess lot's right? Well I want to say what really annoys me more than anything is this:-

Why do the folk who have our email addy's and send out frequent auto emails think we should go ahead and fall for the BS.........

It smacks of : I'm sending you this mail, I really planned it out to get maximum response however, while I monitor the clicks you the recipient have no right of reply!

Why in this world don't the gurus..smart marketers ask for feed back?

or

Do you take us all for mugs?

Sorry but, lets get some honesty in to the job OK....

    I have a list of 48,000 stock investors, I do ask for feedback, but it is all done through polls and surveys, there is no possible way I can communicate the feedback of a one on one with that list. Things are done systematically at a greater level, I have 500-600 person lists that have my personal information, and I speak to regularly, they have proved themselves as buyers and through loyalty.

    Agreed! I have tried to approach several people whose list I'm on for a JV, never heard from any of them no matter which email I used. Unsubscribed to everything, now I have a filter so that everything that comes from aweber or infusionsoft goes into junk :-) much faster than unsubscribing.

    Hi Gordon

    I unsubscribed to many lists about 4 weeks ago and I am still alive. I just have fewer emails to delete.

    The criteria for staying subscribed was whether I was getting good and helpful info from the marketer.

    I do not mind learning about the latest product. In fact I love buying new things. My hard drive is full of great stuff. But.... I hate being sold to just to give someone a commision.

    Kenj: good point, I mean we don't mind being sold to and we should look at whats supposed to be new etc...but, don't you get tired of the presumption that we are a statistic on a list expected to yield 5 bucks a subscriber?

    I provide my subscribers with an option to go and read a relevant blog post on one of my blogs, where they can leave a comment or join a forum discussion on this topic. I also run polls once in a while. They can write to me also by responding to the e-mail broadcast, which they do, but I rarely am able to respond personally unless they buy something and need a post purchase support or have a question relevant to their purchase.

    so, activetrader: A forum is one of the real truth tests..at least you give the chance of reply right? I'm just thinking that interactive thought process is better for the greater good..plus it is a plus to give confidence to prospective buyers..If, we are going the gently gently catch a monkey route..
