EZA Vs. GoArticles... Who Do You Use?

I'm not asking for the obvious "EZA is too harsh" type responses but what I'm really interested in is if anyone has noticed and better/more responsive SEO results with either directory. I also appreciate any feedback you have on getting articles ranked in general, thanks!

You can get articles ranked for either one.

This isn't 2005 anymore, so you need to promote your article to get it to rank for either one more often than not. ** hint hint** write to both and get both articles ranked for a keyword that is making you some cash.

I have noticed better results from ezinearticles. You get much more initial traffic from the directories, and they tend to get indexed higher based on my personal testing measures.

Just remember that quality content really is king. Step one is writing a great article, and step 2 is getting the proper backlinks in order to maximize the article rankings.

I use both as well, plus several others. I don't believe in putting all your eggs in one basket.

I personally have had better success with Ezine articles. I couldn't say why Google likes them better but in terms of SEO Google seems to list my ezine articles before my Goarticles even though the Goarticles are live before the Ezine.

Personally I'm having better results with EZA, with almost half a dozen of articles in the first page of Google.
Go Articles are also a good article directory but EZA policies makes sense, and Google likes them too because some articles took 6 hours to index.

Both are great article directories. I am using both the sites to do article submissions. Specially in Goarticles, articles indeed pretty quickly in Google. that is an added advantage.

I would have to say that as long as you play by the rules EZA is hands down the best. I get much more traffic from EZA as I submit regularly to both directories and I often rank much better for EZA. Two Thumbs up to EZA

EZA is by far the best, but that doesn't mean to exclude the others.

Typically EZA is liked a little better by Google, but that's not entirely suprising given their quality guidelines. Basically Google has learned to trust the editorial quality of articles at EZA

It is not a question of which one to use or who is better ... It is a question of which article directorie(s) <=(notice the plural) are the best for "you" to use.

Because joe article has great success with eza, amazines, goarticles, and a few other article directories -- does not mean jane content will have the same results.

It all boils down to what works for you and what you are looking for... With that being said I would not focus on just 1 or even 2 article directories but instead focus on 10 or 15 or even more depending upon your strategy, time, and marketing abilities.

I absolutely agree that different directories will yield different results for different people. I guess I was talking specifically about the SEO benefits of EZA ober other article directories (which is still arguable). I view the authority of EZA a little like the authority that Google used to confer to DMOZ links - anything that's been vetted by a strict human editor is trusted more than content that's automatically accepted.

      Just my 2 cents...

SEO benefits is not very much actually because of all the links and ads on the pages that actually decrease the value of the pages. While just about all article directories has SEO benefits, some kill everything with the thousands of links and ads on the pages.

The authority does not matter as much as people think because even an authority site can be easily outranked in the search engines. What matters on EZA is the fact that they do have traffic and a good bit of it. Most of which I do not think (my opinion) comes from google but other marketing strategies that Chris implements.

So if you are looking for SEO Benefits than a 100% ad free article directory would do you a great deal better.. If you are just wanting to compare EZA against GoArticles in terms of traffic on the site itself, I would say EZA got them beat hands down on that.

One thing that GoArticles does have that EZA does not is a network of sites that are interlinked, while the traffic maybe lower the network as a whole is seen as more authority..

Then again it still boils down to what is best for "you" ..

For me EZA brings many many more visitors too and is worth the couple of day wait, but I do like GoArticles in that it is an instant backlink - i.e. they instantly approve you (after you get to an approved account level or some sort?)

For me, it is eZA. it ouperforms for me better than goarticles. i particularly have a method i use to make it appear higher on EZA category listing and search engines. It works like ganbuster everytime i apply the tweak. So, EZA is best for me.

      What are you looking for?

      Instant backlink: GA

Immediate ranking without bulding a backlink (and can come to even first page of Google): EZA

Ease of building backlinks (I may be wrong but): GA

So, without effort SEO - easier with EZA, with effort (linking) easier with GA (probably).

EZA translates to more sales given the same number of visitors, GA somehow does not seem to sale. But GA alows affiliate link which EZA does not.

Verdict: Use both - what else?

I think EZA is hands down the better as far as ranking in the LONG RUN is concerned. Goarticles responds well to backlinks but really dives after a short while ... just my experience.

Hi Brandon, I prefer ezine articles for SEO purposes and getting ranked on google as well as the other search engines. Hint : if you want to get it ranked quicker and get higher SEngine positions take that article link once other Ezine or Goarticles gives you the link and social bookmark it plus submit that link as an anchor in other articles that you write on the same topic. this will give that article more SE awareness and linkjuice = higher rankings as well

I use both and both are good in different ways. I notice that I tend to get more traffic from EZA, but with GA my articles go up as soon as I submit them and I notice I get tons of views.

Bottom line: your content needs eyeballs. Submit to more than one or two article directories and you get more eyeballs.

    Brandon,

    Hi my friend!

Like others I submit to ezine first and then once the article is approved I will submit to a list of other directories.

In all of the other article sites I use the resource box to link back to the main article at ezine.

This helps to give the ezine article more links.

    Hope this helps

    Regards,

    Ian

    Hi Brandon,

I like the others use both directories. I use ezine first ro get approved and then post to multiple directories from there.

At the other directories I use the resource box to link back to the main article at ezine. This gives that article at ezine some more juice and external links.

    Hope this helps,

    Ian

You get good SEO rankings from both. Goarticles has never really converted into any real customers for me I just use them for getting backlinks. Even though Ezinearticles is a pain they are a lot better you can actually make sales through them hope that helps.

You might want to try Hubpages I have the best results as far as revenue goes through them! Write a few hubs and keep me updated on your success!

Both are great article sites. The key to getting them ranked is keywords. If you do your keyword research you can get articles ranked quickly. You want to find keywords that get a decent amount of searches AND that don't have too many websites already targeting those keywords. A good ratio: 1000+/-10,000.

I don't use either, but it depends on what you're trying to achieve.

Are you after backlinks? Then submit to both of those directories plus all the thousands of others.

Will this article be your money site that have an affiliate re-direct link in your bio section? Then I would again submit to both of them. You may as well grab both the first two spots for your keyword rather than just one!
