My Monitor Screen Keeps Moving Up & Down What Would Cause That!

I know this forum is about IM but I've been having issues with my monitor screen
moving up & down at a high rate & I'm thinking it's a bad driver or would a virus do it.

Is there a software program that can diagnose the problem
here's my computer & video specs.

Computer: Dell DImension 8300 2.8 Mhz
NVIDIA: GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X
Monitor: COMPAQ 7500
DivX Plus Directshow Filters
DivX Plus Web Player
Java 6

      haha

If its physically moving.. then you have some serious problems

But I take it you mean the picture is moving. This is either a driver problem, a virus or the cable or video card is not connected properly or is on its way out.

Have you surveyed your immediate area for a hidden vortex?

If you're watching porn, you're too close to your monitor.

I had a similar problem and it was a defective video driver. Apparently there was a conflict with something I had installed. I updated the driver and it was fixed. Hopefully you will be a lucky

I can take it haha if it's an earthquake then it's a good one.

It's most likely a hidden vortex lol, what is it it's still doing it.
