Hi.

Wrote a few 250 word articles on ezine, is it advisable to spin these? If not how many words should an article contain before attempting to spin?

Thanks.

Jim.

Sure, you can spin them, but if you plan on submitting it to some of the other article directories, they might be a little on the light side for a few. Some require up to 500 words, depending on the directory.

  • Who is going to read them?

Do you think you can rank just by forcing a ton of low quality links with jumbled up articles? That's the whole point of spinning - trying to rank.

In low volume or low competition niches perhaps you might get some boost from a ton of links, or you might get filtered.

Bottom line is "Spinning" ads no value so you shouldn't expect to be rewarded. People waste so much time on tricks, which are really not a good use of time.

Write for people. It's people that ultimately take an action resulting in income.

Does the fact that the ezine article is not the strongest or the most 'wordy' diminish the 'strength' of the the backlink in the eyes of google? If the article was more detailed and has more information would it help a lot more with position on google?

I wrote a few 'wordy' and detailed articles on ezine. What i found is that there have been numerous visits to these articles but very few went onto my site through the link.

However, with short, sharp, 250 word sales-y type articles there were many people who clicked on the link and have visited my site.

My site does contain things that'll add value to peoples' life but if only people found it. If its ranked 150 on google there is probably little chance of any traffic.
