What internet version version are you all using? (for those of you using IE that is).

  • I'm not sure which version I'm using, but I think it's significantly better than the one Al Gore invented.

    • Oh good grief, I didn't expect to see this tripe in here. Can we puhleeeeze put it to rest. Gore never said he invented the internet.

And yes, I have a sense of humor. I just find it incredible that anyone still believes this, let alone is spreading it around.

  • The Internet was already around, Gore just invented the new version version that we're all using.

  • Ok, I am using IE 7, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Fire Fox.
  • IE 8.. most popular browser
  • Firefox 3.6 for serious work, and Google Chrome 4.0 for quick browsing and videos. Firefox sometimes tends to bog down on Flash webpages for some reason, I hope that they'll try to minimize this issue in version 3.7 that should be coming out in a few months.
  • Before, I am using mozilla firefox.. but i switch to google chrome because in mozilla my pc always hang..
  • What is the internet?

  • Fox Baby !!! IE is for beginners....

    • Yeah, I despise IE and only use it when my head will be cut off otherwise (which thank goodness isn't too often)!

But I graduated from FireFox to Chrome months ago. Way better. I still need FireFox from time to time because Chrome is still developing certain things I need in it but it's faster, crashes less, offers more screen room, has extensions (including SEO extensions which was a big thing for me w/FF) and is developing more and more consistently.

I generally work with both Chrome & FF open because I do a lot of stuff and need FF sometimes but I don't use it much ...probably 10% tops, and that's on a very diverse day. Hoping I will only need Chrome in the not-so-far future.
