Ideas for Generic Domain Selection? How do you pick your domain names?

Hey Warriors....
I was recently reading an Ebook I got and it recommended I buy a generic domain name that I can host several offers on...... Instead of buying a domain for each offer I do.

How do you pick your domains? Do you have several products on just one domain?

My thoughts in getting a generic domain name are:

I have several products to promote
I want to post my links in forums and yahoo answers
I am hoping I can eventually get accepted by a CPA network like Commission Junction or Share Sale.

Also if anyone has any recommendations for getting accepted into CPA networks Please let me know?

    I usualy pick my domains based on the main keyword of the niche I choose, with a keyword oriented domain you can rank better on google (with your keyword on the domain, the title, the description and the body is a sure "show me on the first page you damn google" thing) and you can promote a wide variety of products from the same niche.
    Unless I go for snipping, then I target the brand name of the product I'll promote with the words, "review", "bonus", "exposed", "revealed" or "get" on it.
    And always try to buy .com or .net
