hi

I'd like to move a WP blog from a dedicated server [which got manually installed] on a self-hosted platform on my host who uses one-click automatic installs...

Do you have any ideas how to do it, and more importantly, if I can upgrade the blog automatically to its latest version and plugins, taking into consideration that at the moment there's just manual blog upgrade "option" available on the dedicated server?

    Don't use a one click install.

    If your host is cPanel then you can simply do a back up. Nearly every other cPanel host will install your back up for free. It's very easy to do. You might have to make a path statement change in your config.php file. I haven't done this for awhile but when I was investigating how I used Youtube.
