2 quick ways to drive massive traffic to your site

Hey everyone.

Well I am going to share 2 quick strategies that can produce massive amounts of traffic for you using offline advertising.

One way is to print out a copy of your home page put it up on bulletin boards all over your local area wherever they allow it. the key is to use a good page not some junky written page something with a graphic that looks nice and draws their attention. this works very well

A different way is to post a classified ad for your local area and hold a seminar online webinars are free to run at a lot of places and I think gotomeeting.com has a 30 free trial target local business people and at home people who would like to learn how to advance their current income potential. again promote it in a classified ad and bulletin board short and sweet.this has proven as well and is done by a great deal of well known marketers Think outside the box I get thousands of hits a day to my sites and this is one way I promote

Along the same theme, paid advertising can be more cost effective off line than on line. Many people run tiny classifieds in major dailies with very positive results.

Yeah that is a great point there are literally tons of ways to drive traffic but that one is by far one of the simplest I mean people spend outrageous amounts online advertising when offline can do the same if not more and quicker.

Leave a little space at the bottom for tear-offs with your web address printed on them so people don't forget your address, or even forget they read your ad. When they empty their pockets and find your tear-off with your web address they'll be reminded to pay you a visit.

Another great idea is to put your webaddress on
your cars front or back bumper or even both.

That way your promoting your website
    whenever you drive your car

I think I saw a Gary Halbert video last year that said if you are selling something online successfully, then sell it offline and watch your sales sky-rocket and improve.

I'd love to do this kind of advertising (advertising in big publications) but my copy is not refined and I don't know enough about the nuances of it yet. I prefer spending my money on online advertising right now, because I know enough to take at least some of the guess work out of it. If I advertised in any print media at this stage, it would be pure guess work on my part.

You mean by saying something like...

Driving traffic is great, and it makes a lot of sense. But make sure your site is ready for an increase in traffic first.

    Is it already converting?

Is the sales copy doing its job?

    Are the graphics OK?

The thing is that traffic alone can't save you. You can send all the people you want to the scene of a fire, but if none of them are firefighters, the place will still burn down.

    All the best,
    Michael

Do you use a tracking url or other means to see if the local promotion is bringing traffic?

You'd be able to see which pages are getting visits in your stats package, WD.

The one with the tracking ID is the page being hit.

For example in your stats software you might see something like this:

    mywebiste.com/offline-promo.html - 150 visits

That's the most basic way to track it, I'm sure there are other ways.
