Give me the DVD for $17 plus S&H.

    Give your customers the option.

Put a better sales letter on it and
    sell it for $197 ...

Refund rates will be lower for the
physical product so ship the DVD's as
your bottom line will be better.

    Or ...

Sell the instant download for one
price and then use an OTO to up sell them
into the DVD. You'll be amazed at how many
people will take you up on this offer.

Follow this advice and do so it immediately. Best advice you can get.

      Good leadership here Amy, Thanks.

Mobiusman talks about the Head Brain/Gut Brain system. Did you know you have two different brains?

I always prefer B because you don't have to wait
long to watch the video ie. its instant once you
have made payment plus B is always cheaper,
leaving more money in ones pocket to spend on
    something else.

I also agree with the above in that you should
    offer your customers both options.

    It depends.

If it's an IM video, then online - always.

This is so I can get cracking straight away and sit at my computer while putting into action the directions or theories on the video.

If it's a movie, I like to watch it in my home cinema which needs a DVD.

Just to be clear so there's no confusion. I was thinking it would be an hour long presentation detailing a description of a new thing in the Personal Development niche. Has a part in it that is IM though (licensing included).

Probably would require more than one play.

Thanks for your help. This is so helpful.

Online video can be of a very high quality, so why wait for DVD?

I prefer the first option, "A DVD sent to your home - Pay $27 or $37 plus S&H"
since not every one has a fast connection, including me

Depends what the subject matter is. If it's an IM video that I'll watch on my computer screen I'd go for the download every time. If it's on another subject that I'd watch on my TV, I'd probably go for the DVD option simply because it would save me the hassle of having to download it and then burn it onto disk. The same would apply if I was ordering the video as a gift for someone.

    Horses for courses, I guess.
