Ah, I wish I weren't busy during those days (Feb. 25-28)... Do you think this event will be recorded and sold later?

I went to a summit a few years ago in London, it was very enjoyable, but make sure you keep your hands firmly on your wallet, they are very much a pitchfest

The networking will be more valuable for you

    Cheers

    Hi Neil

No it was a worldinternetsummit with Brett McFall and the usual gang.

It was years ago I was a relative newbie in those days and I gobbled it up. (Spent a fortune as well, as you do).

I find IM seminars enjoyable (though I haven't been to one in ages), but mainly for the networking. Surprising who you find yourself sitting next to at lunch.

My claim to fame is having lunch with Ted Nicholas at the last seminar I went to lol

You're definitely right about keeping your money in your pocket.

I enjoy them occasionally - I went to the Continuity Summit in Connecticut last year and that was fun.

I enjoy the networking - it's interesting and quite amusing sometimes listening to the ideas people have!

Sorry for hijacking your thread OP

        Hi Guys

Firstly, yes the event will be recorded and sold later on dvd. Only ticket holders who purchased the ticket will be getting the dvds to sell.

Secondly, im not going to lie... YES, it IS a pitchfest... absolutely. These speakers on stage are Marketers obviously, they are there to make money, no doubt about it.

However, ivebeen to WIS before and i gotta say, even if you dont buy anything ,the content shared and the event itself is awesome. Also, as you guys have mentioned, i think the best part is the people you meet. The contacts you make. That alone is priceless. You'll have those people for life ;-)

        Just my 2cents.Haha.
