Hello!

I just wanted to contribute a little. I've doing alot of reading, I thought I'd do a bit a sharing. So to all the newbies and well, anyone else too!

I wrote this for you..

Hey are you one of those online newbies who want to make it big into the world of internet marketing? Great!...congratulations for such a wonderful decision! Have you taken up any step? Well, you may have either gone through all the same stuff, I'm guessing... beginners tutorials, newbies guides, the so called "legitimate" website, first businesses advice, well the list goes on and on. I know, I was there too! Not only you, there are innumerable internet newbies who prefer following the same old track...only few amongst them succeed but most of them give their dream of merging out as a successful marketer, creating their first website, starting off with their own online beginners tutorial and much more.

But this won't happen to you...

check out the top priorities for online marketing newbies included out there and I am sure you can start off with a profitable and pleasant business.

Let's start off with the considerations for online marketing newbies now...

First and foremost you need to find a niche with which you can start working with.

Why not go for a mentor who would help you out with some fruitful advice. It isn't always necessary that a mentor has to be a person; you can go in for some online material as well. in fact, by choosing a good mentor you can ease your worries to a considerable extent.

By this time, you have determined a niche as well as chosen a mentor. Your next step involves in proper planning of your work. So start jotting down your goals on pen and paper and once set make sure you start working on them. After setting your goals, you need to next consult your mentor to find out whether the goals set are up to the mark or not.
After preparing the list of your action items, you need to start working on your plan. This is the most challenging job that most entrepreneurs face when it comes to carrying out your business.

"TAKE ACTION!!"

Be determined and work on the prepared goals with utmost sincerity and I'm sure you'll never regret your decision.

"NEVER GIVE UP!!"

I agree that you may feel tempted to give up the idea of continuing with your business if you haven't made any profit. But then, profit is not something that you can make overnight, you need to put in adequate efforts for this purpose. Have patience and with time you are sure to reap the benefits of your hard work. Once you gain the needed momentum there's no looking back...you are sure to make an easy progress.

Internet marketing is an overpowering business, initially you may find a bit difficult to start off with the entire venture but with time and with the right tips and tricks at your hand it is pretty sure that you will make sufficient cash.

Here's wishing you Good luck...go ahead and give wings to your dream and for any queries make sure to read this article as many times as you want.

Yours In Success,

Tom Trotts

You are right. The most difficult part is to take action. Most marketers are lazy.

Long journey starts from a single step but just a few can can start the single step

I can't help but think the "marketers are lazy" part wasn't caused by marketers themselves. I mean with all the crazy and hype filled headlines that a newbie reads. I imagine that after so much exposure to such headlines from being stuck in a state of "learning" for so long, ones mind begins to be "programmed" that making money online is "easy" and a "lazy mans way to riches" and since making money online is "so easy a fourth grader could do it" it's no wonder that marketers begin to become "lazy" why shouldn't they? It's so "easy"

      see what I'm saying?

That is true, however after realizing that it's "not that easy" they abandon the online ventures. That's where good old personal laziness comes into play Those that realize it's hard and have a bad day because their idea of getting rich quick was crushed yet again but the next day take action - are the ones that are not lazy.

    Hey Tom

Nice post. A lot of newbies probably feel overwhelmed, not only by what they perceive to be a huge volume of stuff they think they need to know, but also the huge number of different "systems", approaches and so on.

When I was writing my latest sales letter I managed to boil down the most important elements for an IM'er down to four words... DEMAND (as in, offering something that's in constant demand), FOCUS (on the big picture in particular), ENERGY (no energy in, no energy out!) and HELP (as in, get help... as you say, a mentor).

These 4 words I've found are worth keeping in mind.

      I couldn't agree more..

The fact is the biggest myth about internet marketing or just making money online in general is that it is hard.

It really isn't.. it takes.. like you said "FOCUS, ENERGY, HELP"

Model success.. there are ALOT of people in the forums. literally EVERYTHING you need to know about making money online is in the forums. Seriously, find your niche and focus. search the forums about your niche - just enter your keywords and follow it up with "forums" with out the quotes. if your niche was "golfing" you would search "golf forums" - Go see what people are talking about. what questions they are asking.. then provide solutions and focus on value. then deliver the goods.

      and ALWAYS build your list..

      I promise it will work..

      seriously.. promise

      hope that "helps"
