Hi Everybody

Very new to internet marketing only been looking into it for about a week now, one thing i have noticed is there is so much hype about it and how people make Thousands of £ or $ per day, how realistic is this? There are so many products out there that draw your attention which ones should you go for and any to stay away from?????
Thanks Antony

Hello anthony welcome to the forum. Internet marketing can make you lots of money, but it takes a lot of work and some time. A lot of the sales offers you see out there try and hype their product. You could make that kind of money, but not when u are starting. You made a wise decision to join this forum. If I were you before you buy any of the products that you see online buy a membership to the war room. It will give you priceless information and can help you on your IM career. Good luck

Hello and thanks, yes i believe that i could make that kind of money or anybody but the realistic fact is that you have to learn to walk before you can run! Its a good job i am not taken in easily, the fact of the matter is that i watched a few videos on youtube by a guy (Dont know if i can say his name or not on here) and he is showing his accounts in which there is large sums of money and claims that to get that you only need to work a few hours a day but its very misleading yes he may need to work a few hours a day but to a complete newbie like me it takes hard work, determination, motivation and a hell of alot more, kind of upsets me a little bit to think people will be drawn into that on sort of false promises!!!!!

    Hey Antony,

First off, welcome aboard. You're in the right place.

But be warned - "internet marketing" can take many shapes & forms. CPA, PPC, AdSense, Affiliate Marketing, publishing, article marketing, copywriting, WSO's, etc...

My advice is to read through this forum (stay out of the WSO section for now), do your own research, and find out what's right for you. Stay focused on what you do best and don't get distracted by the "latest secrets"

(unless of course, they're mine... then go grab your credit card! lol)

    -Cam

Not only various websites offer prize money or attractive payment, I am getting lot of spam email everyday which is pestering. There are money making offers, viagra , home business and what not. How many of them are genuine? God only knows!. I personally feel, very few people make big money in a short time on the web. All others may earn average to medium income.

I always thought those Viagra ads were targeted marketing directly to me? Other people get 'em too?

      Now THAT'S enlightening!

Most of the $47 ebooks you see that promise to make your $100,000 in the next 30 days are full of crap and lies. The truth of the matter is that you can make a very lucrative income online, but it is harder than people think.

You have to learn many skills, and you also have to learn how to leverage your time.

If you are new then I suggest you check out some resources on article marketing with affiliate programs. This is how I started, and I was able to move into bigger and better things in a relatively short period of time.

    1. Find an affiliate product over at clickbank.com. You should pick something that will sell well, but also does not have a ton of competition.

    2. Setup a blogger account, and create a blogspot blog. You will put a one page review of the affiliate product you chose on this page. Ideally you want to point out both the positive and the negative of a product, because it should be an "unbiased" review.

    3. Link your blogger blog to the clickbank sales page. Make sure that you get your affiliate ID from clickbank so that you get credit for the sale.

Listen, there are other ways for newbies to make money online, and this is just a very rough outline. However, this is an outline that worked for me, so I want to help as many newbies as possible to start collecting those nice affiliate commissions.
