Internet entrepreneurs are like entertainers.
Until you "make it." in the eyes of others in terms of achieving success there are quite a few traditionalist who will not respect what you are trying to accomplish by building a business online. Many will tell you to get a "job." or get a "real job." as though this isn't actual work. Alot of times you'll feel like an artist, writer, musician etc who has yet to get their big break or even gotten the opportunity to achieve it. I would venture to say that building a business online is far more frustrating than building one that is primarily brick and mortar. At least with the latter people see evidence that you're working toward something tangible (in their eyes.) instead of some "pipe dream." or "fairy tale" as they see it. My best advice is to ignore these people and what they think/believe. They have been brainwashed to think that a 9-5 job 5-7 days of the week is the only way someone can make a living. These are incidentally the same people who come looking for a hand out or want to get in on what you have going when you do finally "make it." even though they viewed you as a slacker and a goof off who didn't want to work while you were getting there.
