I currently have 2 sales in my clickbank account.. from the beginning of this year..the thing is in about a month I will have to pay their "dormant fees" I believe to get paid you need 5 sales if Im correct..but I don't know if I can make it.. Im thinking about closing the account and take a step back to figure out what I want.. but yet I made 2 sales... so I need a push in a direction here..

Don't close the account, the fee comes out of your balance; you don't have to pay. Just keep doing whatever worked for you to keep getting sales; it will reset the dormancy counter.

I think that dormancy is crap anyway! How much money do you think they take from newbies hard work, only to get taken away.

That's to discourage some people from signing up and leave their accounts to rot :p

No - it's just to add to cb coffers. The credit cards used are none of CB's business and if they wanted to keep affiliates from buying through their own link they could do that...but they don't.

None of the reasons given for this practice hold water - but there is no competition so no pressure to change. Considering the number of people who seem to give CB a try - I expect those $1, $5 and higher "maintenance fees" add up to a healthy sum each month.

There was a time when closing the account would result in the commission being sent to you - but I think CB closed that loophole last year and closing the account may forfeit any commission due. Not sure but I think that's what I read.

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

Just focus your time on making 3 more sales instead of dwelling on whether or not you should close the account. Study how you got the first 2 sales and try to repeat the same process.

Yes, you should be able to get three more sales if you focus on more "active" forms of promotion.

For example, if you are doign some kind of bizz opp/make money type product, you can print out small flyers and distribute them at apartment cmoplexes where you live. When I very first started this is exactly what I did and got anywhere from 2-10 sales per weekend.

Make videos, write articles, there are tons of ways to get those three little sales!

so yeah, focus on making the sales, its def more than achievable
