Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have seen the sales video for Ryan Deiss' overnight product creation product. If you have not here it is. thesurveyresults.com

My question is , how do you make a buy it now button appear magically

like he does towards the end of the sales video? This is pretty cool and i would like to integrate it to my site.

Where do you actually get the magic buy button? Where can you download or find it, the actual html code so that you can change numbers and put it on your website??

With all due respect to Ryan, I find the Magic Buy Button
strategy risky. If they pause the video and walk away to
come back and watch it later then the button is sitting
right there for the person.

Having that button available anytime before the right time
is a conversion killer. A lot of people will pause a video and
save it for later.

To increase my own conversions I have the video redirect
to the order page after it finishes; or I have a button appear
only after the video finishes; or I show them a secret URL
to use to order at the end of the video

The magic video approach hides the buy button until the sales pitch video finishes playing, testing shows it this improves conversion rates, the easiest scripting approach (without a custom Flash player) uses a timer to reveal the button after the approximate length of the video.

Ryan also has a course showing 43 conversion improvements

Any advice I have ever taken from Rian Deiss and his mate Perry Belcher has made me lose money and waste a hell of a lot of time and effort.

In my experience the so-called 'Magic Button' doesn't work as well as a large text-link with secure padlock pictures on either side.

Rian Deiss talks a lot about having done so and so number of tests. I wouldn't take his word for it. To your own testing.

You are absolutely right, most people just take other's word for it without testing themselves. In one of my niches video salesletters failed miserably, but in the rest they do much better. And I don't always hide the BUY button. In about 20% of my videos I don't hide it. Always gotta test!
