Dear Newbies...Shhh, Here's the Secret to Success on the Warrior Forum

I am sure that many of you newbies and some experienced Warriors are using the search function in the upper right hand corner of the forum page before asking questions that have probably already been asked before, right?

I know you are probably new here so I want to help you on your path to success, whether that be millions or just finding one tiny piece of information here on the Warrior Forum. The search function is probably the most useful tool within this forum, and yet many don't know how to use it.

Try it. You'll like it.

Unfortunately, it won't let you search for words or abbreviations that are 3 letters or shorter so here is how you get around that:

You use Google.

Let me show you how, using three of the most common 3-letter abbreviations here on the forum: PPC, CPA, and WSO

Let me google that for you

It really is that simple. There is an almost infinite amount of internet marketing information here. Use it wisely.

Finally, if you want to search a specific Sub-Forum, just put that in as the site, such as the WSO Forum:

Let me google that for you

As you can probably tell by now, the options for searching the Warrior Forum are endless. I just hope you read this before asking another question that has already been beaten over the head in 238 other posts.

Also note that when you click the search link at the top it opens a window and at the bottom of the window it says in big black letters, "Search Forum Using Google"

Definitely something that needs to be used more, the same questions are asked almost daily in some cases. Should I use nofollow links? Article marketing or forum marketing? Is Clickbank ripping me off? Frustrating sometimes.

This is very true. Thanks for also pointing this out George.

I am past the point of frustrated with people coming in here and and asking questions that are asked on a weekly basis. I hardly ever look at the Main forum anymore for this reason. I understand that you have to get your post count up in order to do certain things like send a PM, but I would rather them be helpful than ask a stupid question that has been asked 20 times before.

Interesting.. Keep in mind those questions being asked 20 times is just a reminder there is a need for a product answering those questions. Your frustration at some of those questions could be opportunity knocking.

Sometimes we are at a loss for how to phrase a question...you'll see what I mean in a minute when I try to get something answered on best practices which will be very easy for someone and then very easy after that for me.

I always (OK usually use the search function) but it rarely helps on specific questions only leads me down rabbit holes, useful rabbit holes but distracts me from what I am trying to do at the moment and sucks a lot of time. For me time = money. Search is more helpful to me when I am looking for the basics or a particular thread or lensmaster

Hey and you get nice backlinks for all those endless, mundane and easily answered questions.

Ironically, many of those "here we go again" threads get the most posts and everyone delights in the debate or is it bickering...some of my harder questions go unanswered.
