I Can't Log In To My Clickbank Account

So I just tried to log in to my Clickbank account and was greeted with a message that there was something wrong with my username or password.

I then decided to reset my password and after confirming it I entered the new password in only to receive the same error message again.

What's weird, though, is that the Firefox add on CB-Notify has no problem logging in. I entered a random password in to try and let CB-Notify get in there and it said "Login error", and I then entered the real password and it logged in and has my daily balance displaying in the bottom of my browser as per usual.

Basically, a Firefox add on can access my account but I cannot through my browser.

I deleted all cookies etc as well and still the same thing. I've also tried in different browsers.

Has anyone ever had a problem like this?

I contacted Clickbank, do they usually take long to reply?

    Hi Pat.

    I've got the same issue so it's obviously a Clickbank problem.

    I made the error of resetting my password in the belief that it was my problem too!

    I'm sure they'll sort it out shortly.

    THE FOLLOWING ADVICE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE USEFUL - IF EVERYONE ELSE WASN'T HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM...

    Try disabling your Firefox add on, reboot your system, and if that doesn't work - try logging in from your local library's computer.

    Sounds like a CB issue.

      I feel stupid now for resetting my password and contacting them. Although I am relieved.

      I'm sure they'll have it sorted out soon enough.

        This is what I get: "Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party."

        Also reset my password and contacted them and don't feel the least bit stupid.

          Everyone can relax - I just got off the phone with Clickbank and they are doing a new release right now. Should be all set in the next hour.

          I was a bit panicked for a minute thinking I did something wrong and got suspended. You can all go back to work and stop checking your earnings for the next hour.

            Relax? Check your hoplinks, they are probably not working. I get this error:

            And not the first time.. Could be a huge loss for PPC users..

          I can't log in either, and I am getting the warning. I have not gotten the uncrypted connection warning for CB before.

          At least it doesn't seem to be an isolated incident.

            As I mentioned in a post a few minutes ago I just got off the phone with their service department and they are in the middle of a new release so noone can log in right now but it will be all set in the next hour.

            They said there will be some minor changes.

    not only you can not, this morning i could not log in my clickbank account too, also i found there are many "order submit" in my stats ,but never become a sales, what's wrong with clickbank, do they steal the sales?!!! if company run online business like this, it s really terrible!

      I just got off the phone with Clickbank. If you are a vendor or an affiliate you are still able to accept payments. Just cannot login. Should be fixed in a few hours the support said.

    I knew to come and check here before changing my passwords ;-) I could not log into any one of my ClickBank accounts and started freaking out too but I thought it was ClickBank glitch. Glad I was right

    i think clickbank has really good explanation on this,me too experienced same...cant log-in to clickbank even though i did some generating new password still cant log-in to the site...thought this was some bug on my pc..,so i purchased a laptop soonest but still when trying to log-in thru clickbank but to no avail...is clickbank shutting down there website?...

    This occurs when Clickbank's authentication DB is offline, yet their website is online. This is a known issue CB has had a great many times in the past, 100s of times (according to a quick glance at my stats).

    Just wait until they resolve their server issues.

    Nothing to worry about, guys. Whenever CB is performing some major changes to their system, things like this will happen. I have seen it a few times in my IM life.

    For scheduled database maintenance, you will be unable to login, but sales process will carry on smoothly. If your hoplinks too are unavailable , then they are doing a major revamping for their site. Just wait and hope we will be greeted with a pretty new dashboard. .
