Hey guys,

I have 50 articles on weight loss that a client backed out of, I would like to use them to promote some affliate progs.. how should I best go about using these best to do that?

Should I post to my blog then use ezine and others to link to my sire that has the affiliate links or should I buy a domain and forward/redirect to the affiliate link first/only?

If anyone is willing to mentor me in doing this I could use any help to best utilize these articles.

Thanks so much!

Why not just sell the articles as PLR packs? 20 articles for $9 (two lots of those) and 10 articles for $5, limit it to 30 customers or something? Might cover your writing-fees (hope you took half up-front anyway?!).

I don't mean it rudely, but without experience of affiliate marketing, it's maybe slightly the "second-best" way to start, you know?
I was about to say the same thing

Or if you really try your hand at affiliate marketing, then find out proper keywords for which you could easily rank for. I would suggest after editing your articles a bit for keyword optimization posting them to Web 2.0 properties like hubpages, squiddo, tumbler etc as they get ranked higher by SE in short period of time. You could add links to the affiliate product within your articles, if you buy your own domain and redirect it would be better. The next step would be building links to your web 2.0 property. That could be done via submitting it to rss directories and socialbookmarking

      Happy Affiliate Marketing!

      Hey,

I would have to agree. However, if you are interested in selling the 50 articles send me a PM with how much you are looking to sell them for with a sample.

You can sell them one time and that's it or you can create an Adsense blog and see what happens.
If you start getting "clicks" you are getting paid over and over again. If not, sell them.

Now Weight loss is really a competitive niche, so if your going to go through your own route, it may not be the easiest course of action...

However it does also depend on how unique your articles are and if they are cutting edge etc..

If not, you already have an offer or two to buy them on here, so .....

I agree with what everyone is saying here sell it to an affiliate marketer who would buy that up quickly.

The niche is way to competitive right now. If you really want to get into it maybe use the content for emails spread out over 50 auto responders and set up a simple landing pages to opt people into the weight loss email list.

Going your own route is going to be time consuming to say the least..eventhough those articles might not fetch too much (actually not sure what the price of good articles is these days) but it'll save you the hassle of IMing with adsense, webpages and the like..unless that's what you wanna do

Why not do both...sell a few PLR packs to a smallish number of clients, but save a set for yourself to use as you wish for your affiliate marketing plan?

Sell 25 and then post 25 to top article directories or web 2.0 properties. Take the money that you make from the 25 articles you sell and use it to create some backlinks for the 25 articles. You could also post the 2 articles you like best to article base or another site that ranks somewhat easily (if there is such a thing) and then take the 23 other articles and post them backlinking your 2 articles you choose. If you use the money to backlink these articles and also backlink with the other 23 articles you may be able to rank them as long as the keywords are longtail and not too dificult.
