How much time do you spend online each day?

Just a quick question to my peers...

How much time do you spend online each day and how much of that is actually work??

I went through a stage a few years ago where I would be online 24/7 thinking I was working... Now I limit myself to 90 minute stretches and try not to be in front of my computer for more the 6 hours on any day...

I mix the rest of the day up with a lot of cooking and exercise... evenings is for social internet use... (and light work or 'research')

How does your internet useage look?

I couldn't tell you how much time I spend online, holy cow its alot. I will say though that I am much more productive by limiting my social internet time. I only do that later in the evenings, and sometimes to "reward" myself for an intense time of work. Facebook, Gamespot, and TheForce.net (I'm a star wars geek, lol)

Usually 12 hours a day minimum and sometimes I'll work through the night as it's peacefull. Having said that, I do automate as much as possible.

I don't beleive any systems which say 15 minutes to 30 minutes a day bla bla...work until your eyes bleed

I don't spend more than a couple of hour online working my online business except if i have something exceptional to execute.

If you have mastered what you do every day you and your internet connection is very fast you wouldn't have a hard time finishing your task.

I spend about half an hour writing 4 articles except if am writing something very lengthy for my hubpage or lens.

    It's all about getting organized.

My ad tracking software also help me know what is a waste of time and what is valuable to my business.

I am online around 12-14 hours per day. I am in front of a computer at work for 8 hours per day. Then I get home and work on my online business for 4-6 hours per day. Hopefully this will slow down once my website is live...

I tend to spend a lot of time online everyday, but the actual running of my business really doesn't take long at all. I just happen to have a passion for internet marketing and discussing and sharing ideas with other people

    3-4 Hours a day.

I go to the gym everyday, meet my friends and take Internet Marketing as a hobby.

Staying up till 4 am is doing no justice to your body.

Regular exercise and sleep is important.
    "work less - make more".

You should be in a position of setting up websites that make you money on complete autopilot, never exhaust yourself by working all day in front of the computer - this will result in back strain and you will have a fat belly in the end..

wow - so Internet marketers are a bunch of internetholics ...

So, how do you think you could reduce the amount of time spent of the internet? Having free time, leads to bordom so I guess you have to fill the time with another activity right?

I was putting in 3 hours a day and more in weekend when doing my full time job.

But since leaving my job and taking the courage and gamble to go full time into IM, I am grafting in minimum 8 hours a day. And I still feel that's not enough.

I think I may send the family for a 6 month holidays to put in more hours

I spend around 9 hours every day. I would separate this into 5 hours -working on my current projects, 2 hours - researching new projects or improving the ones I already have and 2 hours that I'm loosing. Either instant messenger, reading/responding to mail, reading/ posting on different communities that I'm apart of.

I'm probably doing this 12 hours a day most days. I know that's way too much, but I have goals...and really do enjoy it.
