Aweber Whizzes - I NEED Your Help!

Hey Guys

I am new to tracking my stuff on Awber. I've never really done it before.

I am doing Single Opt-In and have a list of a few thousand.

And..I just looked at my stats and I've only had like 2 clicks!!

But I think its because I am adding the FIRSTNAME thing within the URL so it appears as a PURL (personal URL).

I also am wondering -- do I need to have the link be BLUE and clickable (underlined) in the HTML version of my email on Aweber?

Also, when an email is sent, is it almost always the HTML version or the text version? Do I always need to make two versions on Aweber?

Lastly -- can I split test Followup messages, or just broadcasts?

    If the link isn't clickable how did you get the 2 clicks?

    I would expect at least 10% so that would be 200 clicks.

    I would look at your basic set up and the spam count on your message before worrying about split testing.

    Well it shows that it counted some clicks without the PURL extension attached.


    So yes or no -- do I need my HTML version of the email showing HTML clickable links for them to actually work for tracking?
