Loged into my Gmail account today and saw Google Buzz.

I gather this is their attempt at combating Facebook etc.


I like it what do you think?

    yeah...yahoo has the same feature for years...never made news... it could be the ultimate facebook killer!! Could facebook has been building something that is just an extension.. a feature that any big email providers can out do? Google did not come into the game too late... google simply waits till the concept is proven and has gained acceptance while facebook has been doing market research for free for google...

      Unless it can integrate seamlessly with what I am already doing, I don't see how they will get people to use their service instead of going on Twitter/Facebook. Seems like it would make more sense to just have tighter integration with Facebook so people are interacting on Facebook through Gmail.

      But, I'm sure Google has a plan...

    You can turn it off (I did) by scrolling allllll the way to the bottom of your gmail page and clicking "turn off buzz".

      Oh you mean they actually let you choose ... Amazing!

      I guess if I used gmail I would know that ...lol I prefer to use my own server vs a 3rd party...

    Like it or hate it I just had a conversation with a friend using his Iphone which is predicted to be one of the hottest markets this year.

    Mobile connections will be whats its all about this year and Buzz will just make it easier to connect with mobile users.
