Hi,

I want to start writing articles for people but there are some problems...

First of all, I can't accept money via paypal because paypal doen't support money receiving for my country. So, can I use another payment processor or should I just give up on freelancing?

Do I write the article first, give the buyer the article and then receive payment or the opposite?

At what price should I sell?

You should not give up free lancing because it is a best way to start a business online. You will get alot of experience through this.

    Other payment processors are:

    • Money bookers
    • 2CO
    • Alertpay

Do I write the article first, give the buyer the article and then receive payment or the opposite?

No you have to give him the price first and then confirm the order by receiving the payment. After that you will deliver the article within the time limit.
Sometimes buyers give 50% first ....that also works fine.

At what price should I sell?

See waht people ae selling and what is the market rate? Then lower your article price. Normally it is $0.5/word or $1/word.

I hope josh i solve all your questions.!

Well, I tell you one thing, your thinking way ahead than you should.

From what I'm learning now, they have no problem giving you full payment if they trust you enough to do it.

It's sorta implied, and if you provide great work, no issues with payment upfront.

Personally, I never taught of this question before doing any freelance work, I just did it, and many of these questions your asking will answer themselves.

Some will tell you to sell it for cheap to sorta "get your foot in the door", others will tell you to start off high. I say aim somewhere inbetween where YOU feel your services are worth and what you can reasonably expect to charge for it.

Depending on what you personally belive is possible for you to earn, you'll get just that. You never know, your clients might assume you'd charge more than you ask for, and you'd never know it. You'd be surprise how far you can go if you value your time, skill, and services more than the low-ball rates many writers throw out there.

I would never do it, because I value my time. It'll help if your a marketer and make money marketing because it'll help you think bigger.

I know this isn't a "direct" answer to that question, but I won't tell you how much you should charge. The bigger question is, "how much do you think your worth in combination to the service you provide?"

    Want a tip josh?

Focus on giving more than expected of you, and you'll never fall short of business. Always think of ways to give more than expected of you. Know of a helpful way to boost article clicks and views? tell your clients about it, heck, offer it as part of service or separate service. That's extra income.

Offer free articles. Offer free services. Offer something free that will bring a direct impact to someones business and WILL make a difference.

I'm not talking outta my butt. I've done this myself, just thinking of ways to give back without want or expecting anything. I just enjoy writing great articles, and my own writing has put lots of cash in my pockets, so why not share my gift with others no strings attached?

Turns out, I'm getting offers I didn't ask for and I won't be able to accept most of the offers. I don't say this to brag, but to show you the power of giving, giving, and giving even more.

Give away 5 free articles to someone, and I guarantee, if your sincere and truly intend on doing great work with or without pay, you'll get maybe 2 clients out of those 5. That'll more than pay for itself.

    Goodluck

I'm sure you'd be able to find a payment processor somewhere that can accept payments for you.

Your English seems good anyway so stick with the idea. Once you get a handful of clients you should find that the work builds from there. You actually only need to find yourself a few good clients and you're in business.

As for pricing, why not offer the first x amount of articles at a discounted rate. Then if they like the work they propably won't mind paying your standard rate.

AlertPay is just as good as PayPal.

I have been using it - no problems at all.

Use both of them because it's always better to have payment options so that customers can choose the one they prefer thereby increasing your sales. Though I have never used Moneybookers but I heard that they are good.
