Hard to say as I'm not in your shoes.

You have a nice chunk to start with.

You need to decide a few things first.

What niche are you interested in? You will be sticking with it for a long time so you will be happier imo with something you actually like.

What ways would you like to monetize? Would you like to supply a service, sell your own product, or sell someone elses product?

How you proceed to invest your money will go on from there.

For instance, if you decide to create and sell your own product - are you able to create this or will you need to outsource to get it done? If you have to outsource it will take a chunk of that cash.

What things do you have other than the cash? Do you have a computer you are happy with? Do you have hosting and a domain?

Will you be selling a physical or digital product? Do you have inventory if it is a physical product? How will you get it to the end user?

    Too many factors and possibilities.

    Hey Jill,
(sorry about my grammer, english is no my first language)
thanks a lot for your comment first of all...

    I have 2 options:
1)I'm going to finish a product in the israeli niche which i hope i'll finish in 4 weeks.
...(i have a different budget for the marketing of this product - another 1000 $...i'll love to hear some tips if you have on how to market it on the best way...its a guitar learning product)
i'm thinking on ppc and seo(sould i do backlinks from english site?...
maybe Angela Backlinks?... or just site from israel?)

2)me and my friend wants to try to sell other peoples products(maybe a clickbank product?....from where i can get phisical products in a low cost and dropshiping?...)

should we built a big site that contains lots of articles on it?..

should we try promote it on ppc also?..

i've got here tons of questions i know,...
i just want some advise because i dont have any experience....
i will love to hear any advise form someone with more experience than me...

I really want the opportunity to travel the world and i am sure IM is the best way...and i am willing to work very hard for this!....i'm young and i have all the ambition in the world!

would love to hear any suggestions here....

    thanks a lot!!

Well, you will want to complete one at a time - for a couple of reasons.

And this means get out the calendar and give yourself a schedule.

Is your learn guitar product a stand alone product? Did you consider making that some kind of membership?

I just need to clarify - you are looking at 2 different business models - correct?

#1 is your own product (aimed at Israeli's who want to play guitar?)

#2 is marketing other products as an affiliate.

      Can you just clarify this?

Ok, you can do lots of things with that.

You can upload that to a membership site and drip the lessons out, you can just sell the CD's - and those could be done through Kunaki so they are made on demand.

You could offer that as a clickbank product too so you can get affiliates promoting it.

As for you wanting to affiliate, I'm not sure if you want to branch out into other arenas, but here is what I would do.

I'd set up the guitar playing site as a members site, offer people the option to buy the program on disc, or join with members and get MORE stuff.

On the side, I'd set up some affiliate programs that were products your new guitar playing students are going to want. So you can have a store in place, and you sell guitar pics, guitars, etc.

Personally, I'd look for a way to tie it all together.

As for the sites getting traffic, you can start with PPC campaigns, but you eventually do want to have a back plan going on for your SEO.

If you put this product up somewhere like clickbank, you will find your affiliates doing a lot of the work for you to push the program.

This is just one possible route you can take.

Make a list of things you are a good at, and examine them thoroughly. You have to find the right niche for you so that you can work on it for years to come without regrets. When you make the list use google to find your competition to see where you stand and see how you can progress from there. Good luck with your investment.

These are answers I don't have for you. I would "guess" you could, but you will need to spend some time in clickbank looking to see if there are other products in foreign languages.

There are a hundred and one ways to do this. Essentially, you'll need to look around and decide how you'd like your members site to look. You can then peek into the source codes on these sites and see what kind of script or CMS they are using.

You most likely will want to run on a CMS or content management system so you can really organize your stuff and make it user friendly.

All business plans be them online or offline should be somewhat fluid (meaning you can allow for some changes) and can be started with the end goal in mind.

You should probably look at some other online businesses and make a list of what you like and what you don't like about them.

Let your mind go as wild as you want, and get a firm picture in your head of what you want your end business to fully look like.

Write all those things down, and you'll be able to then dissect it and work backwards to develop a plan of action.

If you are doing an affiliate marketing business plan for the second one, you still need to decide on a niche. Once you get the niche selected, you can either create a store to sell your product, you can promote through becoming an authority on a blog.

What you will definitely want to do for both of these is build lists.

I would begin with something I have an interest in, or find something that looks like it will be a big upcoming trend.

I would research and see where the market is for this niche, how much they tend to spend on products, what kinds of products they are buying.

I would do my best to become an expert in this area, and start with one corner of it but plan for the long term to branch out into every area of it that could.

I would start with a simple blog where I could start to build my reputation on the subject. I'd get into some social sites like forums and facebook and I'd really listen to people while trying to help them. I'd look for what their real problems are and then go find the products that will fix their problems.

Those would be the products I'd promote as an affiliate.

I'd set up some capture pages to get their emails - and give them some kind of gift for signing up.

Then it's just a matter of promoting.

But the way I'd set things up is really niche specific.

Here is an example - one niche (and no, I'm not doing this full time) could be the health niche - fighting diseases. Ultimately lets say I want to make a vitamin/nutrition/homeopathic store online. I can begin setting that up, but to grab a corner in the market or angel to start from, I'm going to come up with a list of ailments and diseases that the herbs and things I want to offer will help.

My father for instance has Multiple Myeloma. It is a nasty cancer that does not allow the blood to give nutrients to the bone, so basically his bones will fall apart and get holes in them.

There is no cure for this disease right now, but there are things to ease the pain or slow down the process. Of course, it is all experimental right now. But one of those things that can help are these Chinese mushrooms.

So, now I know I would want to provide those mushrooms in my store, and I will need to find out how I can either become a distributor or an affiliate for them.

I know I need to hunt down support groups for this cancer, as well as any news or information I can about it.

This can all be used for content as my knowledge grows on the topic.

When I have a campaign in place to drive those people to my site, I can then move onto the next product for the next disease - and keep going to build my inventory and the number of people I can reach who are looking for solutions.

I hope you can see - it will all be very specific to your niche. Where you will go and what you will do.

And you can start with a big idea - but you need to break it down into bite sized chunks.

It takes time to build a long term business.

You can of course be even more focused. It's not about what I would do really but more about what would you and your friends like to do.

The quickest way to make some money is to promote someone elses offer. But if you are looking to for long term business, I would work towards building your own product.

What is your area of expertise? You can easily put together an ebook or short video series in a few weeks. Even if you don't have the skills to create the product yourself, you can easily outsource their creation to several very qualified Warriors here fairly inexpensively.

The key to long term success is leverage. Focus early on building a great network of partners. Aligning yourself with high quality partners will ensure a promising future for you and your product.
