Does This Still Work?

Hi,

Does anybody know if profile backlinks still work? I use both Angela's and Paul's and up till the end of last year I had great results from prolile links but now I don't see any joy at all. There seems to be no benefit whatsoever from the links that I've been building over the last month or so.

Is anybody else noticing this?

By the way, no offence to Angela or Paul meant, like I said they did wonders before.

They are still working fine for me. Just recently used an Angela's packet on one of my articles and it jumped up 20 spots to the first page.

  Really? That's good to know. Maybe it's just me. It's weird though because it's not as if it's just one of my sites that isn't responding to the links, none of them are. I'll just have to wait and see.

  For these sites yes. Only because I'm working on something else at the moment and it was just to keep them going and hopefully moving up the serps. I built lots of other links to get them where they are now which is 2,3,4 pages in on google. Before, when I did this with other sites, they would always rise to page 1 with no bother.

Seems like a mixed bag of results for some people with these links although they work ok for me. My suggestion would be to mix the links up. In other words don't just rely on Angelas links. Do some bookmarking, blog commenting (relevant comments of course) and see how things go.

Could also be they're not getting indexed as quickly and then taking a while to run through the secret SERP machine. You may find they spring to life in a day, a week, a month....

I had a blog sit dormant for six months (page 20) then rocket to number 3 spot and sitting steady.

Just never know with SEO...hey that rhymes!
