Quick UAW Plugin question...

Do you need to have a membership to UAW in order to get the UAW plugin to work?

Sounds like a stupid question... but I was told that you DO NOT need to have a membership to make it work... but for some reason I can't get it to work.

Has anyone used this plugin successfully (without a UAW membership)? I was able to get it to post the initial "test post", but not any articles.

    I installed this on a blog that is in a tight niche, and I didn't see any articles. I think it has to do with the categories you have in place on your blog. They need to match the keywords being used.

    I need to install on another blog to be sure and test this theory though.

      I had access UAW, but it is now expired but the UAW still works well. I receive a number of articles on the page but I get very little trafik. I do not know what is wrong

    Thanks for your response avenuegirl

    I tried using it on 2 seperate blogs in 2 pretty saturated niches using 2 "broad" and "common" keywords (for example weight loss and acne), and I got nothing... so maybe you do need a membership

    I'm testing on a different blog now, and I'll check tomorrow to see if any articles were posted.

      Do you have the categories or are you just talking about the tag keywords?

      No, I know what you mean. It is supposed to work even if you are not a paid member - which makes sense to them that others writing articles get them submitted into more places.

      It has been on my back burner.

      You dont need to be a member to get the plugin to work. I was using the plugin and have it post to my blogs for about two months before I became a member.

      I did have a few problems getting it to work when I first started using it. I opened a support ticket and got help within about 24 hours (even though I wasn't a Member).

      I am having a problem getting it to work on a new blog at the moment on version 2.9.1. I am not sure whether this is because the niche is a very narrow one or if because it is not yet compatible with this version of wordpress. I have added some broader catagories this evening to see if this will get it to start posting.

      It is working fine on older blogs (2.8.xx versions of wordpress).

      If you cant get it to work you could always open a support ticket.

      I could be wrong, but I think the email you enter in the UAW plugin section in wordpress has to match the email that you entered on their website. Once I corrected this, the articles started to appear.

    Thanks ladies... maybe its my version of WP... I'm running 2.9.x.

    I'll check tomorrow to see if it worked, and if not... I'll contact support.

    I installed UAW plugin three days ago and haven't got any article from them till now. Is there any criteria by which we can get articles on a regular basis?

      I'm not a member, but have the plugin. Took around 3 to 4 days to 'get going' but since then I've been getting around 3 - 5 articles a day (it's in the beauty niche).

      Did you get the test post? Check to make sure it's set up correctly. I had to switch off audio posts before it worked for me.

    yes I got the test post although I sent it to thrash as it was not related to my blog. I have just contacted their support. Let's see what happens.

    As others had said, some specific niches get no articles . . . I am a member, and have had the plugin on one niche and got nothing in a month, yet more popular keywords get 2 articles a day. Also, it seems to sometimes take more than a week before you start getting any articles fom the plugin.

      I am looking into this wp plugin as well. I did find this youtube video on how to set up this plugin. hope it helps.

        The UAW plugin works well and you don't need to be a member. In the article site in my signature I used UAW to get +- 4000 articles in 2 months and switched it off as I get enough submission from non UAW submissions now.

        I have a 2 test site with a UAW plugin that have 1000's of article and I have a wide range of catagories on there my-info-site. com and epropnet. info

        I use these for reference on which categories to choose for my other sites and this help me choose the categories to add.

    Nope you don't but i do find knowing the categories which are given as options inside UAW help's with increasing the number of article's you get on your website.

    Being that im a member and a publisher there i created a massive website that has like 40k+ articles last time i checked on it now in just a few months and setup my categories using the same and similar category names as the members choose.
