Hi Guys,

Looking to get into profiting from using public domain info.

Can anyone recommend a course to follow?

Thanks

i know someone makes good money from wikipedia content.. and their license explicitly allows this exploit.. not sure if they have changed the license or not..

what it is essentially is a legit scraping business... with google pretty good at discerning duplicate content.. it may still work.. not as profitable...

search "scraper script" and use the same trick

There you go Tin. Just make sure to know, all the rules when it comes to the PD piece you want... to work with. Make sure that they are 100% in the PD and avoid hassles.

I can highly recommend Kneb Knebaih's Public Domain manual which is still offered as a WSO.

I don't think I can use links yet due to my low post count but check out the WSO section and look for the thread titled "How I Made $580K Using PUBLIC DOMAIN Works!"

If his manual and vast amount of resources doesn't get your juices going you're already dead ;-)

Thanks to his manual I was able (and continue) to make my first passive income from the Web, apart from Adsense. Kneb's manual is a great read and you'll be amazed at what's out there for the taking.

    Tinman,

Not sure there is a course per se. Info on what constitutes PD and how to determine is VERY easily available with a little googling.

From there on out it's about finding your niche and then the appropriate content - it's really not that difficult.

I have sold tons of PD stuff for a long while (mostly on Ebay) - it's lucrative. Was waaaay better when they allowed digital delivery, but still you can make money on it...

Aside from those already mentioned, Tony Laidig has lots of ebooks on ways to use public domain material. Check out Avril Harper too if you're in the UK.
