Need opinions Photo on squeeze page

Here's the squeeze page. I don't know whether to put my photo on it or not. It's there now. Tell me what you think.

I've been told it's a good idea to have a photo because it gives you credibility. BUT I also know that women in IM aren't as respected as men. Would it turn off guys to see a female photo? Mine to be specific.

I think it looks good, though you should probably add some audio or even video.

A little more explanation about what you know and what you can offer will help immensely.

    Good luck!

      Hello Dee

I don't know whether to put my photo on it or not.
Test sign-ups with and without, then you'll know.

The layout of the page needs work though.

      Cheers,

      Neil

        Dee,

I think this is a good idea in that it will give the reader a personal relationship with the site. It will feel the person is actually reading something a person wrote. If is does turn off "guys" because a female put a photo on the web page then there is something wrong with the reader.

I have read posts about this before and really do think it is great. I actually like to refer to the picture when I am reading that way I can get a "feel" for the person and make my decision on what to do. The only thing I can say about that is be selective on the picture you put up.

That's a great picture of you... wouldn't turn me off at all. I agree with Neil though.

The layout of your page needs work.

    Much respect... take care!

I with Neil. Setup two pages, one with and one without. See which one gets more signups. Generally speaking, I do think a picture adds credibility. But it also raises the question, who is this person and why is she qualified to provide this information.

I would add some margin around your image. The text abuts it a little too closely for my taste.

Hi Dee, as far as the picture goes, I'd keep it...
but, like others have said... re-working the page
    a bit would help it.

While you're at it, you may want to try and add
a clear call to action above the opt-in fields...

If you do use a photo you should try using a caption underneath it with a call to action.

      Eg.

People read captions under photos and in split tests we've done a caption with a call to action like this has doubled optin rates.
