Get the double post on Google Page 1
A lot of people I see are only working on 1 of their pages to rank high for their niche keyword but if you do solid backlinking campaign and a little bit of on site SEO you can lock two of your pages onto Google page 1. I do this for every single one of my keywords. When someone sees your page and it has the double post you have a much higher click through on Google.
Don't just go for getting 1 article on page 1 - go for #1 and #2 giving yourself the first half of the page and knocking your competitors furthur down.

My competitor did the same thing but I pushed them down to the #3 and #4 spot so we are getting nearly all of the search traffic for that term.
I've been able to do this on multiple keywords and it is a great traffic generating strategy.
The great thing about getting the double post is that your second page doesn't have to rank #2. You just need to get your second page ranked onto page 1 and it will automatically attach to that post. So if you are ranked say #3 and #20 on a keyword focus on getting that second post onto page 1 and you will have the #3 and #4 spot. There are a couple things you can do onsite to make sure this happens quicker like backlinking the two pages to each other. And then of course sending more backlinks to each.
