Is There A Way to Get My Article to the Top of Search Engine?

I often ran across a lot of articles in different article directories that are on the first/top page of the search engines.

Thou some of my article are on the second page on Google, yahoo and msn, it was only once my article raise to page 1 of msn for a period of one month and got lost.

Any trick to get it to the top of SERP.

The "trick" is to choose your keywords carefully and get a bunch of backlinks. That's the trick weather you're trying to rank your articles, web 2.0 sites, or your own blogs or websites.

There are posts about getting backlinks all over the forum. If you use the search feature you'll find enough reading material to keep you busy for a long time.

You can use article directories and put links in your resource box. Put videos on youtube and other video sites and put a url in the description. Leave thoughtful comments on blogs and link back to your site. Participate in forums and use your signature to link to your site.

Take the url of your top competitor and put it into yahoo site explorer and see where they're getting all of their backlinks from. There is a good chance that you will be able to get backlinks from many of the same places.

As long as you have done proper keyword research... Depending upon competition, all it will require is backlinks and it will get top rankings. Some articles may require 5 backlinks while other may require several hundreds or thousands, again this depends upon competition...

I hope you have that article posted on your blog and you are trying to get your article on the blog ranked before you do any other site...

Yeah getting a article ranked is not any different then getting your websites ranked.

But there is an advantage! The article directories are usually more liked by the search engines. So it can be easier to rank a article and get a high SERP

This entirely depends on your keyword research and competition.
To rank fast on page one you need to find a keyword with a decent amount of searches per day and a low competition.

Now it also helps greatly to send backlinks to your article. The more links your article gets the higher it will rank in search engines. However you need a good article, meaning your content is relevant to your title and that people will like your article when they read it.

    Hope that helped

you should use an article spinner/submitter and submit mass amounts of articles at the one article you want to rank. The key is using lots of LSI keywords in the spun articles.

Google punishes you for stuffing keywords, but rewards you for stuffing LSI keywords.

There really is NO fast way or tricky way to get your article on the first page. It all depends on your hard work. Just like with a site it is important to submit MULTIPLE articles. Google for example likes unique content, so the secret is NOT submitting the same article to a whole bunch of article directories. I suggest you choose your keywords wisely, and place them accordingly in the article. DO NOT overdue it in keywords either. A lot of search engines ignore excessive keywords. Continue building your links by posting and commenting in blogs and forums.

Getting on the first page is not an easy task but it is not impossible either. ALSO remember that once you are there, you must continue to work to keep it there. There are millions of sites on the web and everyone is trying to get to that first page. Good luck

If you want to get your articles to rank highly in the search engines for keywords that people are actually searching for then you need to do proper keyword research.

Use the Google adwords keyword tool to find keyword phrases within your niche. Make sure to change the "broad" search to "exact" search. This will help you realize the exact keyword phrases that you want to rank for, and show you exactly how much competition the term has.

Once you have written a great article using your exact keyword phrase a few times, and then a few LSI keyword phrases, you need some backlinks.

You can get backlinks via blog commenting, linking other articles to your main article, and getting profile links from high PR websites. Hope that helps.
