I've read on several threads that you should bookmark your articles after they are accepted at ezine. When I try to submit my article link to the bookmarking sites it won't accept them. Does anyone know why?

There are many bookmarking sites that no longer allow Ezine article bookmarks since it has apparently been abused. If I were you, I'd post the link to my ezine article to a blog post then bookmark the blog post. Hope that helps!

Some and I do say some because it depends upon what sites you deal with, refuse to take EZA articles due to them being spammed left and right..

What you should do is first make sure you have that article posted on your blog and then build backlinks / bookmark it. Once done then submit that article (spun or not, your choice) to at least 20 - 30 other article directories.

Once submitted then you should bookmark those articles and build some backlinks to them. You must make sure you do bookmarking properly though and not just spam a bookmarking site. Create an account and bookmark 2 of your sites, then bookmark 5 totally unrelated sites (news, children, funny, sports, and etc).

Once you get some unrelated sites then bookmark a few more of yours and then more unrelated sites. After you get about 15 - 20 bookmarks on the account then ping your bookmarking profiles.

Also make sure to submit your rss feeds for your articles and bookmarks and your blog.

Bookmarking articles vs your own site - I look at it this way, you should build 70% of your backlinks to your own site and 30% to your articles. Always think of your own site first and foremost...
