I need more than one dental implant so instead of paying full whack here in the UK I thought I'd check out the " Dental tourism" approach, especially as an advance in dental implanting ie " same day implanting" is now pretty common place. For instance, there are quality offers ranging from Israel to India to Costa Rica etc. Therefore, even with a holiday ( vacation) thrown in I'd still be able to save a heck of a lot of money. So I checked Google and searched for same day implants. It suddenly occurred to me that as I was trawling through the various results pages I didn't pay any special regard to those on page one or two etc but was equally scrutinizing what was on offer way beyond that point.
Viewing way beyond Google ( etc) pages 1 & 2 ....

I also know that on other occasions, when searching for entirely different types of product or service, the fact that something lies on page one or two is a big deal and I'd rarely trawl through the pages in so natural a manner as I did for the dental search.
It then further occured to me that there is probably a whole range of products and services where this sort of dynamic applies.
Ok, I know it's just very vague and sort of " just a hunch" type of scenario but I can't help thinking it has some marketing significance. Or maybe I'm just stating the obvious.
Like I say, though, way into my search I did think ..." hey, I never usually bother reading so many pages, and clicking the odd link here and there, under normal circumstances".
One thing came to mind and that was drawing up a list of the types of products/services that would lead to, or even necessitate, a long trawl through results rather than those searches that would tend tend to be satisfied with just pages 1 & 2 ( and maybe pages 3 & 4 max).
Any thoughts/comments? Or again, am I just stating the obvious and it only merits a big fat ...doh!
Cheers
