ebay or amazon affiliate system for blog?

Hi

Intend to start a niche blog to include the above, just wondering about

1/ approval system - time taken for approval,
2/commission paid - time taken to be paid
3/which is better eg id rather have less commisions if it meant more reliable service

im going to choose either one or the other but so far i have heard:

-ebay have strict approval process
-people who set up 10 years ago are more successful than people starting now
-ebay prefer UK traffic over US traffic

so anyone with any recent success with the above would be appreciated

im based in the UK but both
US and UK response would be appreciated

    I liked ebay a lot and made an awesome income from it since the changes it has died off a bit.... not as easy as it was before.

    As with ebing accepted yes they are being pretty difficult but then if you present them with a good site built for the user then getting in is a lot wasier.

    As with amazon I am having some pretty good days not as good as ebay but still none the less an income.

    If you get accepted into ebay you can always use both programs and do a price comparison.

    As with the traffic you can geo target the ebay traffic so I cant see this being a problem...
