I am pretty new to Firefox as I have been using IE & Safari browser. I was looking in the tool drop down and saw that there is a "Private Browsing" option. Does this block your IP address or what exactly does it do?

  • Private browsing doesn't save web pages to your cache or browser history.

It's so other people using your computer don't know what you've been doing. Like when you want to pirate movies, or surf donkey porn, or have netsex with an e-whore when your wife isn't home.

You know, stuff you probably shouldn't be doing anyway. :p

  • If you do want to go watch your donkeys with anonymity you can get Tor: anonymity online which is a proxy that works well with Firefox and in combination with the privacy setting you can surf without leaving big footprints.

    All the best
