Hi guys, I'm fairly new here, and have a few questions about blog commenting. I have a website I've been trying to get moved up in the search engine, I've been using the G-Lock FastBlogFinder free edition to do so, and had a few questions about it.. maybe someone can answer

Anyways, when I comment to a do-follow blog, I noticed my website gets moved up in Google but not Bing and Yahoo. I do have my site listed in these engines, but for some reason it does not get moved up there as well. Why is that? Is blog commenting only to move up in the Google scene?

Like for example I can view my site when I type in my site name, but not for the keywords I used for (only in Bing and Yahoo) but I can in Google. Sometimes I can see it in the other two but at different pages. Is there anything else I can do help improve my rankings?

Thanks,
Frank

Just keep building the backlinks. It does take time so you need to be patient. Also try social bookmarking and article submission. Relevancy also counts so try comment on blogs related to your keywords.

I'll share what I'm doing every few days.

Scrape a horde of blogs, comment manually on any PR4+ in my niche that's probably 4 to 6 and if I do it right they will all get approved.

Auto comment maybe another 20 maybe half stick. This relates to my main site not stuff there to support it.

Just continue commenting. From my experience Yahoo and Bing take blog comments links even better than Google does.
But I have seen on SEOMoz blog that Google is going to devalue blog links. Maybe that will be true when they launch Caffeine.

Pick a few high traffic blogs in your niche and comment on them frequently (do not spam them though). Submit high quality posts to relevant blog carnivals.

Besides relevant linkbacks pertaining to your site, It does seem like commenting on high pr and related sites is the best way to effectively increase your ranks in the google serps. Blog commenting will soon not be as effective as it used to be because spammers have overly abused the free blogs with the same excessive and worthless blog postings that aren't even related to the host blog sites. The postings have created a duplicate content nightmare for the engines. Thus Google is making a move to devalue the linkbacks in free blogs. I can't say I disagree with the decision, its just another move in the fluid state of the search algo.

Yahoo, Google and Bing are using different algorithms, commonly Google has the most difficult algorithm to deal with
