Please Don't Make This MISTAKE! Way Too Many People Do!

Hi fellow Warriors,

I have been signing up for a lot of new newsletter subscriptions during my free time today and I have been noticing that people are making a huge error! A HUGE ERROR!

People are neglecting the format of their sign up pages big time. There is nothing that turns off potential customers more than an unorganized or overstimulating sign up page. If I can't find the exact bonus that I will be getting when I sign up or I can't find exactly what your newsletter is about - I'm movin' on.

Plus, people are trying to take advantage of bonus offers on their confirmation pages. But, so many people do this incorrectly too. I can't tell you how many confirmation pages I saw that were quite literally a spattering of random links. That turns me off to your entire list right away, I'm less likely to care about anything that you send me because the confirmation page was a horrible first impression.

So I thought that I would come and post my observations in an all out plea to everyone to please try to do the following...

- Format your sign up pages in a way that is pleasing to the eye. AT LEAST use common sense to take a step back and decide if it would like nice to a potential customer - if not, try something different!

- Make sure that your say exactly what your free bonus offer is and/or clearly state exactly what the benefits of signing up for your list are - don't let the real benefits get lost in the could of 'hype'

- Deliver on your bonuses! Make sure that your readers can clearly find the links to your bonuses as soon as they confirm their email address.

- Don't make them search for a link to the bonus that you promised them - that's a formula for instant un-subscription, because you are giving off a horrible first impression

Just my two cents, I hope these pointers help you avoid losing subscribers and customers.

Totally agree! I send the bonuses to them in the immediate first email, so they don't have to look for it. I also can't stand when the free bonus link is hidden in OTO links. Shady!

Exactly. Not only is it shady, but it can't be good regarding the effectiveness of your list either. But I wouldn't know, because I'm always sure to give very clear download links like most of our fellow Warriors.
