Squidoo learning material

Hello fellow warriors!

I've currently been a little into squidoo for some time now, but I feel that I'm missing out a lot.

Can someone please tell me about some free squidoo learning resources?

I'm thinking e-books and webpages etc.

And are there any squidoo software out there? - In that case, are they any good?

I have heard that "Squidoo affiliate destrucion" is awesome, but I currently don't have the funds for it right now. I might buy it when I have though.

Thank you for replies,
- Preben

Hey Preben - I have some tutorial videos on YouTube (username TiffanyDow). In my Organic Website Traffic series I walk you through it step by step, then in others I have how to add affiliate links, etc.

Here's the Sneak Peek of my eBook that has a lot of good free information to get you started:

    Hope it helps!

Go to the Answer Deck, which is full of great information written by other Lensmasters.
There's also a couple (free) eBooks by Seth Godin himself on that page.

Avoid getting any software that claims to help you build lenses - these are against Squidoo's terms and conditions, and using them could get your account deleted. Most of them don't work anyway.

The best place to get your specific Squidoo questions answered is at Squidu.com Forum.

I think there are even squidoo resources on squidoo itself. Everytime I log-in the site shows me some way I could improve and gives me examples of other successful lenses to look at. I try to use those as often as possible, though they aren't an end-all be-all

Thank you guys! I'll definately check out the resources and do some more research on squidoo itself.
Although I know (knew) quite a bit about squidoo, but it's been quite a while since I did it.
I know that updating your lens often tends to increase lensrank over time, and getting good feedback and comments also has much to say.
I actually managed to get to the 63.rd spot in the SEO and aff. category, but I don't really remember how.

Anyway, thanks guys. I'm bubbling with loads of idea's now =)

I use the renegade university with their click by click video tutorials on squidoo and social bookmarking and many more. Definately worth it. In my blog you can read more about it if u wish.

        Cheers

Yeah I like Squidoo. I have about 5 Lenses with them. But in all honesty I have found it to be much work to do to get any results. Just one of my Lenses is indexed by Google. Frankly, I have found EZA and Goarticles to be much more of a valuable resource to allocate my time towards.

Maybe I just havent given Squidoo enough time and attention ??

But I say article submissions is much more effective and efficient !!

I have found that squidoo lenses tend to get indexed quite fast, if you combine it with other social media.

I submitted it to digg, and I got indexed, as well as the first place on google for a search term. I even got higher ranking than the product I was promoting for the spesific product name!
So squidoo IS powerful, and that's why I want to learn more of it

I think if you use squidoo with the right tools, the results will get massive.

However, I haven't tried to use squidoo as a landing page from articles for example.
I think that might be a good idea(IF you have a good lens), since people will rate it, and comment, hence improving your lensrank, and getting more traffic over time.
