College Week Marketing

Hi warriors,

I just thought I'd share my recent experience.

You see it was my college's "College Week" last week and I am a president of one of the organizations called JITS (Junior Information Technology Society).

It was a fun week filled with surprises and games.

My organization was in need of funds for our other projects and we saw the chance to make money in the college week events. We decided to sell home made sweets and sell them at school but there is one problem though. How do we actually sell them?

Then we decided to just walk around with trays and ask people if they want to buy some. Let me tell you that gets you used to rejection quick
We decided to package the sweets better as in bringing it in a silver platter, using better paper cups and using more expensive chocolate, adding freebies, promo packages, scarcity elements and *poof* we made more sales.

My experience has taught me a few things, one of which is accepting rejection then taking it as positive criticism to help you do better.

I also learned how awesome the information and people on this forum is.

Here is the product we we're selling:

It's called Chocoron and its absolutely delicious.

Thanks,
