A couple of first time WSO questions...

Hi Warriors,

I've been trying to build up the courage to post my WSO for a while now and I have a couple of questions...

1. Do I have to post a big flashy sales letter type post? I'm really no good at them but don't want to hurt my chances of being noticed with a short 'about' type post...

2. How do I stop people posting what it actually is in the thread? The general method is not new by any means, but how do I stop people posting "it's xxxxx" which might stop others from buying? It's not blackhat or bad in any way, just a different spin on something that works.

Is there anything else a 'first timer' should know?

    Test, and test again.

I have no idea what will work best for you.

I will give you a hint about something though. Be sure to have enough in your description that if I were to use the search function for specific keywords, I could find your WSO.

I am confident there are some silly cocky people who think they can just put a sentence or two about their offer and I will find it. I'm sure I didn't find it.

Well, you can't really. People want to know and they will say it's "affiliate marketing" or what ever.

Your twists will be kept confidential by the buyers typically.

    I wouldn't sweat it.

I could tell you but I'd have to charge you.

    Here are some recommendations:

Get a review - as your first time, a reviewer may help you if you need to fix anything. It can help boost some initial credibility.

If you post on a weekend, expect your listing to drop FAST.

Make sure you advertise your offer in your sig here on the forum.

      Thankyou...

I was planning to link to my sales page in the post so people can read it there. I figured that was easier than just copying and pasting it into a thread. I also feel like the "sales" letter is there to do just that - sell to people. I'm more wanting to offer a great deal to my Warriors so feel uncomfortable pitching them a sales pitch.

Not sure that makes much sense outside my own head...

I don't mind people saying "it's membership site" in the thread, it's more how I run my membership sites.

I've had a couple of warrior members review it which was a great help as they changed my opinion on blindly following the 'gurus' advice to put most in the forum etc.

Thanks again for your help! I'm hoping to post it today if I can...
