HI Guys,

Does anyone know of (or can recommend) a video tutorial series on using PowerPoint?

Preferable a free tutorial series...but it doesn't matter too much

Thanks

Glen, can you tell us what is troubling you about PowerPoint? It's pretty easy, and the help for PowerPoint is good.

      Glen,

Lynda.com includes several series for PowerPoint and you can sign up for a month or a year. I can't tell you how many times I have used this site for learning about virtually any software you can think of.

You can also preview the first few videos of most series available there.

      Tom,

Funny, that you should say this.... I thought the same thing, but the last few days fave taught me that, as easy as it seems... there an awful lot of folks out there that don't even know where to start.

      Thanks tomcam,

At the moment I'm creating slides that have bullet point in them

      • Point 1
      • Point 2
      • Point 3

      etc.

The effect I want is to have each bullet point appear one at a time when I click the mouse.

I'm not wanting all the bullet points appears when I switch to each slide

I can find info on slide transitions, but nothing in regard to specific text on a page.

I know is something simple I'm missing

      I hope understand my meaning

I think I worked it out.

You use the Custom Animation > Add Effects > Entrance > Add Entrance Effects.

I guess it just trial and error mostly

      Thanks guys
