How does article marketing work on goarticles?

I have recently been using article marketing for traffic generation but only on ezinearticles.com But I wanted to submit the same article to goarticles.com but have some questions.

1. Can you direct link in the body of the article and if so how many different times? And how long is the max keyword length for these links?

2. Will I get more clicks if I put my resource box above the "About the Author" section? Do they allow this? And again how many times/word count do they allow?

Thanks for any help. Or any link that points out the answers to these questions. I am used to ezinearticles.com which state detail by detail their rules. Thanks again.

      Hi Dean!

I don't use go articles, but read Travis's guide for bum marketing and he talks about a few different places to submit to and the advantages of each. Definitely a great read. You can see his stuff at Bum Marketing Method - Free Traffic Tips.

      Best!

I use GoArticles. I take the same article from Ezine, but I turn my keyword phrase that is in the first sentence or two into a link also. (so now 3 links total)

I believe they allow more than that, but more, IMHO, looks spammy. Especially if you are sticking to 300 - 400 words.

Sometimes I will use additional bold phrases at GoArticles, ezine complains if you use too much bold.

When you say "direct link" you don't mean an affiliate link, do you?

    Always use a redirect.

That way if you find the merchant is screwing you or discontinues their aff program you can change to another merchant by simply changing your redirect.

Thanks for the reply PCRoger. So do you use the about author spot for your resource box or just ignore that? So goarticles doesn't have any solid rules on the amount of links?

Yea, I do not plan on direct linking. I will take them to my site that will redirect traffic to the clickbank page with my tid so I know they came from goarticles.

I do use the resource box at GoArticles. But I have keyword phrase links in the article. In the resource box of have my URL typed out just in case the article gets republished without the links.

Knowing the ClickBank sale came from GoArticles is good, but doesn't knowing exactly which article even better? All with no extra work???

Since I posted this thread I contacted goarticles and they told me I cant have any links above the "about the author" spot. This is odd since 50% of their articles use links above "about the author" spot.

Has anyone had any issues with linking to your site in the body of the article in goarticles? And can I use a link that will redirect to the merchant page. Not a homepage redirect but somthing thats www.homepage.com/redirect-truthaboutabs? I want to add my ezinearticles to goarticles but don't want to get my account banned. Thanks

I put an anchor text link in the first paragraph back to my website or top level redirect every time.

I guess that's the advantage of a GoArticles vs. EZA. Thanks, PC.
