Yes... as far as I am aware.

I saw nofollow in the source of the html.

Sig-links should be regular (follow) links, I believe.

I just read the source of this page and the internal warrior links are no follow tagged and the sig. lines seem to be normal outbound links.

    Guys relax

The most important links (for marketing purposes), i.e. the sig file links are "followed" links, so they do count for SEO and link building purposes.

For example Karl's sig file link is:

    "<a href="http://www.minisitewars.com" target="_blank">www.minisitewars.com</a>"

... see no rel="NoFollow" in there.

I had asked this about the blogs. Since I'm not SEO savvy when it comes to the tech stuff, can anyone tell me if my blog here on WF is indexable and fodder for spiders like my blog on my domain?

There is a lot of debate about this between forum owners it seems. Some think it is best to make ALL links nofollow to stop PR leakage.

And stop some spammers. Not much point in posting to a nofollow blog or forum if your only intention is to make google think your site rocks :-)

There are some blogs that reward the regular followers with followed links after X valuable comments. That seems to keep out the spammers.

If WF goes the nofollow route it might still be an option to reward those that go past a certain number of (proper) posts/comments with followed links.

True - many blogs are nofollow by default, now adays (the comments, not the content itself). Now there are a couple options with those nofollow blogs, however. They are still a great source of traffic, if it's a well-known blog and you write smart, insightful comments.

Also, if you start making those kind of comments, the blogger will begin to recognize you after some time, and then eventually you can send them a message and ask for a link - not guaranteed or anything, but it's been known to work from time to time.

The WF has MUCH, MUCH more to offer than backlinks... It wouldn't bother me either way... I like having a sig here.. I have interacted with some great people..

But the front end of the forum is much more beneficial to my business than the backlinks..

Well, except when I spend all day here

      Peace
